My version of how the Wyrsa looks like in Mersedes Lackey's "Silver Gryphon" book. Yeah, I know they're not really "paws" but that's how I saw them: snake-ish black creatures zipping around in the dark.

Note: Sorry it's so dark, I just noticed. The computer made it really dark, but if you look REALLY close you can see the lineart. I'll try and get the lineart up if you can't see it.
