Vertigo
Imagine a metric of war, where alongside actual planes soldiers fly upon their own wings and toss bombs at their enemies from the sky.
Mighty eagles, and terribly vulnerable.

(Didn't realize while drawing, but the plane soldiers actually look pretty planelike from behind, which I'd say is good. I think they'd benefit from having larger wings and fins then what I drew here, though. Moving the shin-fins up might help too, and the tail could be replaced with ankle stabilizers... Or kept, or both...
Also, if I modeled the two brawling in the foreground after the funny plane that goes BRRRRRRT, I think I should at least have the decency to give them mouths to put a gun in.)
