#019.5 - As Rattata age, the hair on their tail gradually falls off in patches—this can alarm new trainers who encounter this Pokemon early on in their journey; however, it is actually a sign of a healthy, growing Rattata. They must constantly chew on things to grind their large, ever-growing teeth down, and as a result, bulk up as they age.
