A little picture I drew because tomorrow I’m pretty sure most of us will be on one hell of a feel trip. I drew this mostly because all of my favorite cartoons are updating, including one that has been dead for longer than half of my life. This month is a good month. Not A Fan Of Steven Universe, So, I Have No Idea Who The Talking Broccoli Is.

The talking broccoli is Peridot, Steven Universe's equivalent to Zim in turns of hamminess and childishness. The big difference is that she is very competent and very smart (unlike Zim, she can operate very advanced technology, and calls anything less than what Homeworld has "archaic"). The reason why she keeps failing is because she has some REALLY BAD LUCK. Ironically, in real life, peridots are associated with good luck. And also, real life peridots, especially pure ones, tend to become chemically unstable once they enter the Earth's atmosphere. This fact is portrayed very spot on with Peridot's declining sanity on Earth. She went from cold and calculating to a wild child who just wants to go home while still retaining her vast intelligence.
