grrr ok a few things, i'll start w the comic itself cus i have a tendency to over-explain just to get my point across.
so uhhh bassett was the one that gave the girls their names. i've pondered on the origin of their names story-wise for a very long time and came to the conclusion that bassett makes the most sense/is the best fit. i had originally planned for them to receive their names by their father, doctor larson. my plans changed when i decided to make larson the biggest daddy scumbag on the planet, and it felt it didn't make sense for him to name the daughters he didn't love. so i considered maybe their new adoptive parents could be the one that gave them their names. i decided against it because the adoptive parents are the most mega minor characters in the whole prtb-rpg storyline, and i didn't feel like expanding on minor characters for a super tiny arc ykwim? THEN it came down to either the boys or their mother/graham being the ones creating their names. graham is a great candidate, i like the godmother vibe she gives off to them. but graham is actually awful at decision-making when it's not in the name of science. putting her in the postion to give the girls their names would put her in an incredibly awkward/uncomfortable/difficult position. so now it became a decision of one of the boys.

i had this (the comic) specific scenario in mind. i kinda ran through it with each of the prtb to see which was the best fit; bryon definitely would've sat this one out fdjhkg he's just as bad as graham, if not worse; probably pick some stupid ass names like he does for his ocs. i ultimately decided not to use bayard simply because he's had too much attention in the last mini-series with ace (and i just hate him he makes me homophobic). i also thought it would just be fun to try out an interaction between two "unlikely-to-interact" characters, being bassett and ace, as well as expanding on pre-rpg/larson-trauma era. AND i wanted more mommy graham appearance so i smacked her in there as well lol. there was also meant to be another frame wedged in there near the end but my computer started killing itself. so you can just use your imagination for any extra dialogue anywhere.

i'll refrain from explaining every detail or else this desc will be long as fuck and i have a migraine so idk ig if you have questions i'll answer them.

and then lastly i uhhh just want to say that posts and activity here are probably gonna get a lot more staggered going forward. the last paranoid fit i had still has some lingering effects rn, including deleting the instagram app entirely-- sad--and being online is a dreadful feeling on all platforms aside from toyhouse kinda. a lot of my un-posted ppg oc stuff is there is you want to continue stalking me. pls don't talk to me about anything regarding my paranoia unless ur my friends or i'll ignore you (aka throttle you thru whatever screen you're reading this on; aka don't tell me any 'feel better soon' comments it lowkey makes me feel weird if it's not my friends). i just wanted to "update everyone w a status" :zany_face: or whatever idc if you actually read. ask me about my ocs instead :} i'll force your head underwater while you listen to the sound of my voice screeching every detail known to mankind about them to you.
