Abilities/skills/quirks:
Once he has his mind/heart set on something, there is absolutely no stopping him.
He's a master when it comes to science.
While he is not physically powerful, he can easily read his opponents, and can expose their weaknesses with precision.
Despite being very gifted with science, he loses interest quickly when it comes to socialization, traditions, or community interaction.
Has no interest whatsoever in fusion, and will decline whenever offered the chance to.
Does not fuse easily with other gems, being demanding and dominant. The dance is often quite lengthy as he and his partner struggle to syncronize.

Personality:
He is dangerously obsessed with Rose Quartz, to the point where she had to bubble him away for the safety of the Crystal Gems. After being accidentally released, he comes to believe Rose is trapped inside of Steven, and proceeds to kidnap Steven in effort to rip her gem from his body. Once convinced that Rose is eternally gone and Steven is her son, he swears his loyalty to him in her place, and follows Steven everywhere (including into the bathroom)
He will attack anyone who crosses Steven, just as he did for Rose Quartz, even when told not to.
He is merciless even towards the other Crystal Gems, ESPECIALLY PEARL, and eventually Greg and Connie.
When he's not being a psychotic creep, Rubellite is very sly and meticulous.
He likes things to be perfect and pristine, similar to Pearl. (Just don't tell him that)

Dislikes: Pearl, Greg, Lapis Lazuli, Connie, the Diamonds, sociology, history
