Wow, looks like you travelled close to there to take the shot. Is there something you aren't telling us. Fantastic shot.

Fantastic work! Your ability to layer mask is just amazing. You've done a great job capturing the depth and beauty of this galaxy triplet.

Thanks so much Todd. This is now my second attempt at layer masking. Found some pretty good tutorials on line. Getting easier. Kind of happy with the way it turned out

I've always loved astronomy. One of the drawbacks for living in cities these days
is that one dosen't get a good view of the stars.
GOD bless

So true. Sometimes I wish we could turn the clock back 100 years or so.

It truly is Peggy! As I'm sure I've said before..I'm just trying to capture the work of a far better artist.

HELLO FRIEND GALAXY! Man, closest sure is relative, isn't it? It's as unreachably far as the farthest galaxy, but we still give it a cute name and like it more.
This is an amazing shot as usual. The things we can see from our little rock!

Glad you like it Greg. It has taken a while to get back to this shot, been busy with other stuff. It is only my second attempt at layer masking and am kind of happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks Ray. Had the extra data around for a couple months. Finally able to get to it. Kinda like the outcome but still would like to get a couple more hours on it.
