Pics I just found white iris' and purple eyes.....she has green in the comic...just like her sister....a racial trait....which the cartoon ignores I guess.

Nah, I don't think it's that, it's more like they wanted her to be colored different from her sister. Starfire did mentioned Blackfire turned purple for two days when she going through her transformation once. Thus explaining why her hair and eyes changed color in the show.
