Description Hello ppl

Guess who's back...

Simone's busting out of TUFF retirement.

---
More ppl from the past. And before everything else, I'm gonna drop this idea that came up from that one time asked about UNIT's place in the TUFF continuity...

"...And about UNIT's timeline... I intended UNIT to be one of the oldest abandoned projects of TUFF, so old that it sort of became an urban legend among the ppl who work there. It was already abandoned long before Kitty became part of TUFF, to the point that she has to search deep into agency's archives just to know about its existence.

I guess UNIT was a thing back when the Chief was still a rookie or even before that idk..."

UNIT began operating as an offshoot of TUFF during late WWII as a top secret lab (located in some island in the pacific) for creating and testing biological weapons, and it continued doing so for most of the Cold War. After the war, it began to drift away from simply a lab for bio-weapons to all sorts of strange studies, from containing and studying cyrptids, attempting to enter other dimensions, researching alien lifeforms, mutations and applying the scientific method to the paranormal.

However... One day, UNIT seemingly cut all contact from outside sources for no reason. TUFF had no communication of any kind from UNIT for months. By the time they sent people to investigate the matter, the island where UNIT was located mysteriously disappeared along with its entire staff. This incident haunted the agency for decades, until it became some sort of a cautionary tale among TUFF, about the dangers of trying to mess with the unknown...
 ----

Artificial Intelligence is one of the fields being studied in UNIT... By the time Rothmann took over the facility, Lh'ithugoth's influence bled into oragnic and artificial beings alike...

Top:

MORGANA was UNIT's core computer system meant to facilitate operation and maintenance of the facility's complex machinery. In turn, she was kept in control by a specific team of computer technicians led by Dr. Jamie ??? (MORGANA's creator), making sure she runs within her intended parameters. During her attack, Rothman's went after MORGANA first and made sure to completely hijack her system in favor of Lh'ithugoth's influence. As of now, MORGANA monitors the facility for any threats against Rothmann and her plans.

The Protocol and Announcement Droid: Another one of Dr. Jamie ???'s creations. While MORGANA somewhat controls his operations, this droid has considerably more independence from most robots active in the facilities. He aims to guide staff and outsiders by informing them of the facility's rules, location of certain areas, ect. While he was not built for combat, he shows proficiency in the use of his personal taser.

Dr. Jamie ???: A leading figure in AI development back in the day, she was heavily involved in the creation of MORGANA and the rest of the AIs in UNIT as well as some software in TUFF still used up to this day. She was close to perfecting her last project (the Nanites) when Lh'ithugoth began causing trouble. After its attack, Dr. Jamie was trapped in a hidden area in the facility. With no means of escape, she could do nothing but watch Rothmann's actions from her hiding spot. She desperately tried to reconfigure the nanites into a means to slow down, stop and/or even reverse mutations. But before she could finish her goal, Rothmann managed to capture her with the clear intention to convert her to Lh'ithugoth's side. Dr. Jamie shot herself before Rothmann could carry out her intentions. She instead stole Dr. Jamie's research, resulting in the nanites being under Lh'ithugoth's influence as well
    - She was one of the few higher-ups who treated Rothmann with kindness before the incident.
-Rothmann did not disturb her corpse in the hidden chamber out of respect.

Dr. Hal ???: UNIT's Chief Engineer (and resident recluse). Dr. Hal had been Dr. Jamie's partner ever since they both got into UNIT. Before getting sent to UNIT, he was one of TUFF's top scientists specializing in robotics and became somewhat a celebrity in the scientific
community after perfecting the process of safely grafting mechanical parts on organics, thus creating the first true cyborgs at the time.
He and Dr. Jamie collaborated in the creation of Nanites, tiny robots compatible with both organic and artificial matter, allowing mechanical augmentation without the need for external computers to keep the robotic parts running smoothly. By the time of the incident, Dr. Hal was heavily injured while trying to escape Lh'ithugoth's influence. He implanted nanites in his body to help him endure his potentially lethal wounds. He augmented his body with wires, batteries and all sorts of mechanical implants, which allowed him to survive his injuries, but left his mind unstable from both physical and psychological trauma. Right now, part of his body is magnetic energy, with most of his internal organs replaced with mechanical parts. While not directly under Lh'ithugoth's control, his sanity has long deteriorated, making Hal a danger whenever he's around.
    - Do not attempt to fight him with any sort of iron (or any magnetic substance) and electricity... Just don't do it.

Nanites: Under Lh'ithugoth's influence, they allow Rothmann to control machinery and mutate them like organics. They also became semi-sentient, they form colonies and exhibit behavior independent of Lh'ithugoth's wishes.

I for one think you did a great job drawing the robot. It looks cool, and it's especially interesting to see it become infested like that. All character look really good here and have fascinating bios--especially Dr. Hal. I've always liked snake characters, and he looks really vicious in his current state!

Aye now that explains why the they have a Droid and all! Anyway good work on this bruh, you did the Security Droid quite well for your attempt it's pretty spot on!

The new people are obviously fantastic here, I do gotta say it's pretty nice of Rothmann to leave Jamie be indicating she somewhat still have decency despite what she did.
Hal here is too an tragedy that the invention he and Jamie made the poor guy loose his mind, I'm sure that Jamie's death didn't help him that well whenever he found out about her fate.

As for Morgana... Pre-R.I.T.A. maybe? XD
Joke aside, she's one of the many examples that computers like herself can still be scary if done right.

Overall good work bruh!

Been a while since I've seen you draw one of these.

Jamie and Hal seem like interesting characters. Too bad they were "enhanced" by MORGANA's assimilation. Freaky deaky.
