Mannnnn, I missed shading with red lighting.
I've been drawing with so many cool, blue hued characters that colouring red, warm hued characters I haven't touched in a while feels so, so exciting. This new shading technique I've come up with is fantastically effective when it comes to the last stages of my illustrations, I feel more free and less pressured to get it done since it allows me to shade over the entire drawing instead of being limited to a few areas underneath all that line-art. ;;
Normally, I'm not super good with paint-brush tailed character or feline pawed since they never looked right to me, including mix and match coloured characters which this creation did possess. Lots of bright blue, little green, and lots of mix and match colours made it a challenge that was saved by the red spotlight! <33

I got to admit, Neytirix's colour tutorials on Youtube reminded me that even a multiple coloured, mix and match character can look serious and smart with the right atmospheric approach. I'm quite proud of this! And it looks much better on DeviantArt than Instagram, you can actually see all the details! AHHHh <3
