Cleanly Sketched Coloured Full-body Redesign Illustration of the famously infamous swam 'Princess Stella' in a brand newly designed attire!

Originally sketched and illustrated on 'February 27th 2023'.

When was the last time I draw the previous redesign of this beauty? In September of 2022?
Looking back on the original redesign that I made, oh boy my tastes and character design choices have changed so much! Seriously, what's up with the bottom of that feathered dress? Looks like a horribly kept lawn.
But now, after watching some redesign videos of the Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel casts, my inspirational juices began running and I had to redraw my redesign one last time since I absolutely love Stella's colour palette and design.
All of this was for fun and inspirational purposes, so I hope you enjoy! <3

First off was redesigning the facial features of Stella to look more like her animal counterpart. Since there's a head-canon speculating that she's a swan possible peacock hybrid since her blue brother is a peacock, I wanted to change the curve of her beak and shape her head into a designer diamond.
Next was her hair/feather-do. In the original design, its spread out all over the place and I remember one artist commenting that it didn't look like a hair style fit for a princess. (Neither did the original dress design but we'll soon get into that!) So I gave this redesigned Stella a slightly 'Jasmine' inspired hairdo where it flows neatly all the way down her back into an extremely long pony-tail.
Finally was the dress and the accessories. She had to wear a fish-tail dress. I don't make the rules. A feather decorated fish-tail dress with a train with a traditional Victorian styled top with puffy sleeves. Her sleeves are broken up into two sections, that way they'll flow really nicely with the set of hand-less gloves she's wearing. Evil tall collar and blackened jewelry. Hard to resist. Black looks good on Stella! (Unsurprisingly)
Additionally, the changing of the eyes! She's now got emerald green eyes, the complete opposite palette of her original red colouring since it compliments the rest of her light red and pink colour palette! <3

There's some colour theory for you! Love, loved making this character design illustration! Maybe I'll make another one in the future? <3
