Description
I was an outcast.

Shunned from my city, for being her chosen one. After she experimented on me, I was given some solitary confinement to get used to my powers. It was then that I escaped.

I fled into the dark forest surrounding the city, using the stars that we had learned about in class to guide me farther and farther away from the city.

After spending some few months alone in the wilderness, I was able to contain my anger for her. It was actually quite nice, living out here in limbo: she could not find me and I was never going back to her.

My equipment was stolen from her lab before I left so that I could survive out here, and I was able to disguise myself because of my powers.

You see, in this day and age, we are born with superpowers, like in the films of past years. My mother was able to change her appearance, so I inherited that from her. During the great Wars between humans and other mutants, my mother sacrificied herself to save her master, Magneto.

She jumped in the way of some guns that carried the mutant cure and was turned human again. Unfortunately, she was of no use to him after that, and he cast her off like a used toy.

Raven was a new person, and yet somehow I inherited her powers from her, no matter whether she didn't have them still or not.

Sitting under a tree, cloaked in darkness and watching the rain that fell, I remembered that day as if it were yesterday.
