I went down a rabbit hole and created some amazing pictures related to one of my favorite mythical creatures, Medusa.

Once a beautiful maiden with cascading locks of golden hair, Medusa had captured the attention of many suitors. But one day, she caught the eye of the sea god Poseidon, who desired her for himself. When she rejected his advances, he cursed her with serpentine hair and the ability to turn anyone who looked upon her to stone. Now, she lives alone in a cave, shunned by society and feared by all who cross her path. And yet, despite her monstrous appearance, she still longs for the love and companionship that was taken from her.
