Description The whimsical flimsy marigolds
Jumped out of the folds in her ears
Hung down to her shoulders
Where they soaked up her tears
Running when the sun tan lotion
Turned to crust
And the coffee creamer
Turned her metal jewelry into rust
At the diner
Quiet embarrassed
In front of hecklers
She\'d never met
Sitting behind their banana split desks
She could no longer handle the mirror
She held herself up to
It reflected her miasma and asthmatic temper
Tempting blue bell suitors to shit out their lists
Of hobbies past-times and favorite drinks
Though she just wanted to breathe
Room to seethe under her blankets
And examine fantasy brochures
