Character: Tuxedo Mask and Princess Serenity
Series: Sera Myu/Sailor Moon

When we decided to have a theme of Sailor Moon for our formal dance at Anime Vegas 2010, I decided to try cosplaying Tux instead of Uranus for once. For some weird reason I've always liked his musicals outfit. It's probably because it's covered in sequins and has a lame cape XD. It was a fairly straightforward costume to make but as usual I was as anal as could be when it came to matching the source material.

I also made a good portion of the Princess Serenity gown Erinchu is wearing here. It was a joint project between me and her and I taught her how to sew and some fun techniques like lettuce hems . Serenity has always been one of those costumes I have dreamed of making, but I am not the Usagi type . I'm glad I got to get a chance at making it and am also glad Erin looks so pretty in it.
