✦Traits
○Adventurous | Brave From the moment she hatched, Aukai expressed great interest in exploring everything she could. She enjoyed going on all sorts of adventures no matter the cost. She showed no fear of danger as she pulled one daring venture after the next.
○Excitable | Impulsive Aukai is excited by almost anything. She can't help but shift happily at the mention of something new. This excitement often overcomes her rational thinking, something that was almost nonexistent to begin with. She ends up acting without reason, landing herself in potentially dangerous situations.
○Outgoing | Dependent Aukai is always happy to talk to others. She loves holding conversations with other wyngrew and loves spending time with them even more, especially if it entails trying something new. Though she's confident in acting on her own, Aukai needs others in her life. Without company, Aukai quickly becomes lonely.
○Confident | Happy go Lucky Aukai expresses no doubt in her choices. She doesn't feel a hint of anxiety when she approaches others or goes on adventures. She just happily trots along without a worry in the world.

✦History
Aukai hatched under the bright blue sky, the sound of waves prompting curiosity from her first breath. Russel found the small wyngling while doing his rounds and brought her to the Nook. Aukai took no time to explore every nook and cranny of the Nook, soon focusing her attention on the ginormous world outside. She'd examine everything in sight no matter how dangerous. Aukai didn't quite fit in, getting scolded for playing to rough often. Aukai spent her first Warptide participating in the town-wide investigation on Gilligan's alleged attack. During the investigation, Aukai found an egg which she hoped to keep, wanting it to hatch into a little sibling. These hopes were dashed when Alma asked her to return the egg. The Nook seemed emptier since she gave the egg to Alma and Aukai spent a lot of time outside. Aukai ultimately decided to leave the Nook. She spent the next few weeks wandering the wilds on the outside of Wyniph. Hermes found Aukai far from home while working and brought her home. From the moment they took to the skies, Aukai had developed a great love for flying. Russel instructed Aukai to return to the Nook, but Aukai avoided returning, taking up living outside. She came across a treehouse while outdoors, making it her home. Her life was a lot fuller at this point, but she noticed creeping feelings of loneliness. Even after leaving, Aukai retained her reputation for getting into dangerous situations, keeping her from making friends with most wynglings. Luck was on her side, however when she met Manny, a kid she accidentally terrorized before finally assuring him she meant no harm. She would spend her days dragging the anxious wyngling on her misadventures. In this time, Aukai also met a laconic wyngling who showed interest in her lifestyle. After talking about the freedom of living outside of the Nook, she gained herself a sworn brother who called himself Matelot. Aukai grew up at about the same time as her friend, Manny. Warptide struck hard when a giant deelagun attacked Wynsiph, perching on the precious Nova Tree. Aukai left Matelot at the Nook for safety before joining the call to action and fighting for Wynsiph. The battle ended, but so did the life of the Nova Tree. After the attack, Aukai spent more time with Manny and Matelot, glad that they had survived the deelagun attack and the plague. During that time, Manny gave her a gift - a friendship bracelet - that she still treasures to this day. Aukai embarked on the quest for the Mark of Wynsiph, receiving the mark from Ivy. After some time, Aukai stopped seeing Manny around. She spent each day searching for him, hoping to see him again. Eventually, Aukai fell into a depressed state, spending less time with those she knew. Despite this, she and her younger brother worked to renovate their treehouse. Aukai added a lookout in hopes of seeing Manny from there. Coraline started the celebration of Skittersweet. Matelot persuaded Aukai to celebrate with him and over the course of the holiday, she realized that she had focused her joy on one person. She began to appreciate life again and decided to enjoy time with her brother.
