Description This is the 2nd rendition of my character Signus:incomplete. I had a different style in mind at first, but couldn't really put it on paper. What I'm wanting to do is have anyone who is interested to help me perfect and clean up the style. I came up with this quick design sketch last night and couldn't really finish the back portion... 'cuz I fell asleep on it. But... most things here are open to deviation from the style but there are certain aspects of what I want to keep... things that are vital to the character type.

HEAD: Hair is black, straight with a part to one side, and partially covers the eyes. The eyes are dark and vacant, but not "brooding". She always has a blank expression on her face.

BODY: She's not the built type, but not flabby, either. I want to make her thin and not too terribly busty. I feel it's just too much of a distraction most of the time.

ARMS: I originally wanted her to have a mechanical left arm, but I think both arms should be concealed with fighter's gauntlet-type gloves up to the elbows.

LEGS: I want the same type of greaves for the legs as there are for the arms, and to have them match if possible. I want a type of battle/sport boots or sneakers.

COSTUME: There is a definite "grafted ring" motif that I like, and want to implement on the sides of the arms and legs. The fabric is shiny patent leather for the most part.

If anyone wants to take a stab at a rendition or has more questions about the style, drop me a line.

Dude, first of all I don't get what the problem is. This is a pretty cool design. It varies dramatically from the original though. I like this costume better. It's more distinct and makes her feel more designed and thought out. I will say that I kinda miss the asymmetry of the bionic arm. I think people respond well to cyborgs, it never really gets old if it's done right and the character is interesting. I'm diggin' her boots here to but I understand wanting them to look more sporty or rugged.

I am however curious about the blank expression. Is i integral to the character? Is there a reason for it? I only ask because for story telling purposes it makes it difficult to show emotion or reactions to things around her.

Also, the "ninja style" mask is cool but what do you think about a more "motorcross" looking deal kinda like these guys wear [link]

Alright, I'm done for now. All in all I think you are doing fine, but I don't mind helping. by the way that rear view was looking sweet. You need to just finish some of this stuff. Discipline man!
