For r/SketchDaily's alt. theme: fairies
I was reminded of the Drawfee bit about crabs and thought beachfront fairies with crab accessories would be cool. Then instead I created a species of mini crab-drider fae, and I love them and want to explore them so much more. So this is REALLY SKETCHY to get the idea out there and started up (and of course, posted to SketchDaily). I still don't know what to call them and am still adjusting some of the anatomy, but I know that this particular soldier (though his colours are quite likely to change) is named Sandros Surfstrider, The Scourge of Seagulls. There will also be hermit crabs, but they're gonna be mages and oracles, not fighters, hence needing shells for squishy magic users. I don't know when I'll get to these more in depth, but I'm excited!
