For r/SketchDaily's theme: Scientific illustration
Medieval illustrations did their best(?) to be scientific. This was really fun! I had the best time aging and roughing up the whole thing. And even though I knew I'd be obscuring the words, I did fully write out information and directions for use, intentionally illegible (even to myself) to match the style of that squishy font.
I'd really like to do more like this, it's a favourite aesthetic of mine!
