Description Argh, this looks so uglyyyyy
But that's because I have a new laptop, and I have yet to load photoshop on it, so these photos were resized and smushed together on paint, which means some have been stretched too much, and others squished too much. It's all very unpleasant.

Anyhow, I made this for my darling boyfriend ~remyf for his 19th birthday on Monday. He's an utter pain to buy for so I decided to make him some models instead. Despite the fact I can't sculpt for crap (yes, I know I'm not particularly sensible. I didn't even think this might become something of an issue until just before I made these. I mean seriously? Flash you fool). Fortunately they turned out far better than I expected . Took these photos with my phone which admittedly doesn't do them justice, nor does the shabby resizing job, but you can still tell what they look like.

Made Remy a nidoran male and female for his 19th since we're a couple and I think of them as couply pokemon. It kinda made sense to me. Also I didn't want to tackle trying to make models of us as pokemon, or I'd have been stuck sculpting a croconaw and typhlosion, which would be more difficult for me and I'd rather put off attempting till a later date when I'm more confident in my scuplting.

Designed these guys with the idea that the male could be snuggled up and leaning on the female, but since I didnt use a wire skeleton (tried but it went wrong, so I abandoned the idea) the raised arm dropped down a bit, so it doesnt sit where it's meant to on the female. Ah well, the more you know and all that . It still sits on her nose fine, so I used that position in the pic, but he was meant to lean on her right ear instead.

Since I had no idea whether acrylic paint on super sculpy was a good idea or not, and didnt bother looking it up, I've discovered I now need to varnish the sculpture in some way or the paint will peel off (if anyone has any idea what the best stuff to use to varnish these little guys is, feel free to suggest!) So technically this isn't finished, but it's close enough to being so to upload. I may try for a better pic of them once they are totally complete.

They has heart noses for lurrrrve

Made with super sculpy and acrylic paint.

Well, that's enough waffling. Hope you guys like :3. Love you so much Remy

Hehe, oh Flash, you really can be the romantic kind. These are lovely sculptures and, for the record, they don't look bad at all. I mean, they're pretty much on-model with the Pokemon, so that's a good accomplishment for someone first sculpting. nn

I liked these lots and how cool that Remy loved them. This stuff definitely makes your artwork work waiting for. <3
