I do like this oc but I think why people call this a Mary sue is because of the dress and hair a cute expression. maybe if you changed the dress to a black and white plain dress instead of the Gothic type that might help, and maybe if you draw her with no eyes then maybe it won't make people think she's a Mary sue, it's just a suggestion so don't have to take it seriously. But I love this character, she well balanced with a good back story.

I really like this oc. It's original and has its own ups and downs. It's not a complete marry sue yet it is still powerful. Very cool. What is its bio. If you made a backstory and add a few more characters. You could make book. I would love to see what you would come up with as long as it is original.

I have an issue with people appropriating the Operator symbol to just mean whatever the hell they want... I mean, I could take your profile image and plaster it onto Cthulhu and say that it's the official cthulhu face or symbol because it's totally related because I said so.

Well, yes and no. Remember there are many Slenderverse based videos- TribeTwelve, Marble Hornets, and To The Ark for example. Many associate the symbol with Slender due to this. Maybe perhaps, dive a little deeper? There isn't really a "set" representation of the Operator Symbol mate.

TribeTwelve has their own symbol now, Marble Hornets and ToTheArk are the same storyline, and they feature the Operator, based off of Slenderman. That series is made by THAC, which has now diluted into one person after everyone else quit. So, no, it's not just a random slender symbol. Whether people associate it with him or not, that's irrelevant.

Need I also remind you that the Slender Man is a German myth, not just an original work by marble hornets. Creepypasta is literally a bunch of fictional works that share similar traits, but none of them are "canon", just popular really.Β

The Slender Man was created by Eric Knudsen, AKA Victor Surge. I suggest you look him up, he's on this site after all. He created Slenderman for a photoshop contest on the somethingawful forums in 2009. The german myth woodcut is a photoshopped version of a normal image of a skeleton with a lance. Marble Hornets is based on the Slender Man stories and images on SomethingAwful. And the symbol was used by the antagonist (Aside from the Operator, the character based on the Slender Man) to represent the Operator and his lack of a face.

Once again I will say that Creepypasta is literally just multiple canons and myths, much like there are different telling of Snow White or Hansel and Grettle. At this point the Symbol has been widely used by nearly everyone in the fan base, so it's really pointless to try to convince everyone to not use the symbol.
Hell even the game with the Slender Man used the symbol and no one bat's an eye. You seriously need to calm down about a symbol. Unless the creators start telling everyone to not use the symbol, people will not listen to a random person like you, nonoffense

The Slenderman game is just awful... In fact, the symbol is gone in the remake, Arrival. The Tall Man similarity is a coincidence, Knudsen has given many inspirations, none of them being german in origin.

People are not adding to Marble Hornets, they are just usin ideas from it make their own universe. Not every Creepypasta verse has to have the proxy symbol be used as a symbol agaisnt slender or even use it, burn it's become such an iconic feature of Creepypasta, much like BEN drowned, Jeff the Killer, Laughing Jack, Eyeless Jack etc., it's hard to remove it
