heres my new visualstyle for vistaTurquoiseVS
this version isnt rly finished yet
well its all done
but there were some more stuff i should do on it
but everyone has asked for it so much so thought i could release it like this right now
To get the best view of this
go to
right click on desktop choose personalize>window color and appearance>open classic apparance for more colors bla bla
hit the visualstyle and hit advanced then choose menu
and change the menu color to something lighter
like white or whatever u want.. light blue maybe
and hit apply
the go back to window color and apparance (where u choose colors of aero) and hit graphite with like 70-80% intensity
and it will be good ^^
includes a BASIC version aswell
i will probably release an update soon
but yeah.. this is what u get for now

Hey, is there a way to make the 'minimize' and 'maximize' visible at the top right corner of all the windows. It kinda bothers me when I can only see the 'close' button.

Dude I LOVE this; however, I can't figure out how to install in Vista. I'm brand new to Vista and yours will be the first theme I switch to.
I found you on themes4vista.com and used their *.dll files in the System32 folder to allow for the installation of 3rd party themes. Can you help me get this thing installed?

I love the task bar, though i think the actual explorer; dialog, background and dividers are to similar in color, and too dark, it makes it harder to use.

Okay, I used 7zip and it changed the .rar file to "Windows Visual Style file" and I still can't use it.

It was invalid.
I googled how to use a .rar theme and most of the suggestions were to use 7zip. I tried the StyleSelector aswell, but I don't know how to use it. All it shows is a list of fonts, and I didn't download the FontSelector.

Yeah I cant.. I've tried using vistaglazz. After I patch the files, I tried checking again using it to see just to double check and it says the files are corrupt. I even tried patching the files manually but I can't even do that because my pc won't let me have administrative privileges even though my user account is an admin.

ohwell if u use x86 version of vista u should use 's styleselector
if u use x64 i rly cant help u out i know theres alot of problems with it :/
