Description
finally my VS is readyincludes:
visualstyle
browseui SP1 x86 and x64
haxrcorp 4088 font
wallpaper
will be best to use grphite color with 0% color intensity
rightclick desktop > personalize >window color and appearance
use 's styleselector to apply
enjoy
UPDATE* changed the shellstyle/infobar
so now u can see the tex

Hmn. I am on Vista 64bit and did everything to apply this theme. But it doesnt seem to work.

well styleselector doesnt work on x64,
and someone told me that the browseui.dll where wrong version :/
so i hope someone can send me the new version on x64 browseui.dll
to change it.

Are you sure the browseui.dll doesnt' work on x64? For me it works and I'm using Vista 64-bit SP1...

i'm using server 2008 and the browseui.dll works fine. but: is it possible to apply the theme without styleselector somehow? i mean, i can get this to work - but without transparency.

hmm dunno dude, i dont know about the server 2008 and such.
maybe u could try tune-up utilities and se if that works on it.

and another question:
how do you install it using styleselector? I just did it manually since I couldnt figure it out (my uxtheme is already patched anyway), but I cant figure out how to change the fonts as well.

oh that wallpaper is a slighly modded SONA wallpaper.. from the sona wallpaper pack
hmm just extract the styleselector anywhere u want it.. put ur visualstyle folder into the styles folder in styleselector folder and re-open styleselector and it should be in the list. then select font i use haxrcorp 4088 -1
and select "startup" aswell.. u may need to re apply it the first time u restart

I have a folder called mnlstk in the styles folder in styleselector (which I unzipped to my desktop) which contains the en-us folder, the shell folder, and mnlstk.msstyles that I downloaded from you.
when I fire up style selector, I can choose any font, but the only theme option is DEFAULT STYLE, which is the default vista theme.

Two things, though:
1. How to turn off the auto-hide of the explorer bar (the one with "organise" etc)
2. What about the detail window in the explorer? the black rounded corners inside the white rectangle dont look so pretty :/

u have to reshack the MUI file inside the shellstyle

yeah i know.. i never use that infopane thingy so i didnt put that much effort on it.. couldnt rly make it look like i wanted it to :/

Cool VS, but the browseUI.dll x64 version doesn't match mine.
My system was installed with the sp1 install I got off microsoft. The version of browseUI is 6.0.6000.16386 (vista_rtm.061101-2205)
Last time I tried to replace DLLs the OS wouldn't boot anymore even in safe mode, had to repair via XP !
Maybe I'm alone, maybe not. I wish there was a way for everyone to actually patch their own dlls instead of relying on others to provide the right one - with versions, language changing it's a hell to do really.
Now, some constructive criticism about the skin:
- the vertical taskbar doesn't look as good as the horizontal one.
- all my buttons are dark grey with black text on them, it's awful! Why not do them light gray like the comboboxes, which look pretty good? That's so bad it will prevent me from using this style. I hope it's not because of the browseui dll I haven't update, seems not given if your screenshot the "HIT!" button looks like mine.
- Somehow, outlook 2007 looks ... well, terrible! It's like outlook XP, but worse. windows 3.1 like really, with awful scrollbars. Weird.
- I wish the minimize, close & maximize buttons would still be visible even if the window doesn't have focus;
So, kudos for this style that actually looks like something new, and I hope you'll consider my suggestions about the button colors, cause that really kills the theme IMHO right now.

about the browseui.dll x64, i dont use it myself and it was this guy who asked me for it and send me the files. so thats not my fault-
u can patch ur own files using restorator. just open both files and copy all the imges over.
i never tried out the vertical taskbar so maybe i forgot to change som stuff on it.
im gonna look over it and put up a update
about the office.. i know it looks messy and i dont know what to do about it.. i dont use offcie myself so i cant rly look it over.

ok I see nmow that there are both rounded (e g start menu and dock) and sharp (windows ui) and I think it looks rather good.

Great theme; just one problem though. For some reason, it doesn't seem compatible with Microsoft Office 2008. Every time I open it up, the Office theme is messed up. Same with your Transblack 2 theme. Could you look into that? Otherwise, everything is spectacular.
