Description
The Wynglings in the Nook who were old enough to be taken outside were taken on a field trip to the Crystal Tree. Waiting for them was the Mayor himself. The curious Wynglings looked around at their surroundings, before their eyes rested on the sparkling tree.

"Now, pay attention, little ones," Alma said. "Mayor Tendarei will speak to you about the tradition of touching the Crystal tree."

The mayor stood tall on all fours, looking down at the crowd of youngsters.

"You might be wondering why your caretaker has brought you all here today," the mayor said. "This is because you are old enough to carry on with our tradition. Each Wyngro must touch this tree in order to create a bond with it, and for it to recognise your magical signature, or individuality. Touching the tree also means you claim the tree as your own, and Wynsiph as your home!"

Tendarei smiled. "Now, who wants to go first?"

"I do! I do!" Starla said excitedly.

The mayor chuckled. "Then step right up, little one."

Starla bounded toward him and the tree with excitement. She gazed at the glittering tree in awe, admiring its precious glow. She took a deep breath, and placed a paw against its smooth base. A warm feeling rose up inside her, and the tree seemed to glow brighter upon her touch.

"And that's all there is to it," the mayor said.

"Wow..." Starla says, eyes sparkling. "This is so cool! And pretty!"

"Come on now, Star, let the others have a turn," Alma said.

Starla obeyed, skipping back up to the group with a smile still present.

Tendarei stood tall once more. "Alright, who's next?"

Here's my first weekly prompt! Starla was so excited and beaming with energy for this field trip! She loved seeing the tree for the first time, and finds it quite beautiful.

Also, my first time drawing an NPC! I'm gonna have to remember what upgrade corresponds to that.

This might seem to be quite rushed, but to be honest, I did spend a lot of time on it, and worked pretty hard!
