Description
Just as things start to go to plan, where ‘New Orleans, here we come’ has begun to feel like a reality, it crashes, creating a ripple that disrupts the future for four lone fighters.

One survivor (Player’s Choice) becomes one of them; an infected, mindless animal. All hope seems lost until the group catch word of a possible cure being developed within an army base-turned CEDA camp in the heart of Mississippi. It’s a long shot, but four made it this far, and four will make it out alive.

Setting out with their sick survivor in tow, they must fight their way to the base and the cure before the Infection mutates and it’s all too late…

All 4 one, and one 4 all.

INFECTED CONTROLS

As an Infected, a bonus side-effect will be that the zombies will not attack you, but will, as normal, go after your human counterparts (excluding the Witch and the Tank). The Infected that you become all depends on your choice of survivor:

The Jockey (Ellis)
If you decide on Ellis, the infected you will become will be the Jockey. The Jockey can claw and attack regular infected, but can only jump on and ride the specials. The Tank will be immune to steering, but jumping and clawing is fair game. The Jockey is also fast, and is a lot harder to hit.

The Smoker (Nick)
Choosing to play as Nick will result in him mutating into a Smoker. One benefit of a Smoker is being able to keep a distance, but still be able to attack. The long tongue is able to wrap around large groups of zombies in order to hold them immobile, giving the survivors easy pickings. A Smoker can hold onto a special Infected with his tongue as normal, but only for a short time. Handy for keeping Witches still.

The Spitter (Rochelle)
When infected, Rochelle becomes the Spitter. Like the Smoker, the Spitter is able to attack from long distances away by firing patches of acid. A useful tool for dispersing groups of enemies. By aiming her acid into a Tank, the Spitter is able to not only damage the leviathan, but also slow it down for a limited time.

The Boomer (Coach)
Coach, if chosen, will transform into a Boomer. While slow, the Boomer can be very useful in hordes. His bile can be sprayed anywhere he chooses, luring the horde away from the survivors and allowing distractions and easy shots. It’s like having an unlimited supply of bile jars. The bile also has a useful side-effect of being incredibly flammable. Combine it with a Molotov for added damage.
