I was watching the Goosebumps movie yesterday and I decided to do a quick sketch of the most iconic and popular character in the Goosbumps book series Slappy from Night of the Living Dummy,I hope you all like itSlappy: Who are you calling Dummy!?

Slappy: I'll always be here for you kiddo *gets the chains off her and hugs her tightly and protectivly,glares at Mr.Wood*
*All the other monsters glare at Mr.Wood*

Lillith: *hugs Slappy tightly, watches*

*The monsters gang up on Mr.Wood and chain him down on a board and lay him up,Slappy approaches him with a book in Liliths hands*
Slappy: You've been a very bad boy Mr.Wood.

Lillith: And you need a time out ... permanently .... *opens the book*
Mr.Wood: NOOOO! *gets sucked into the book*
Lillith: *locks the book* Now you stay in there and think about what you've done
*Slappy smiles proudly at his lil baby girl*

Slappy: That's my lil baby girl *holds her up proudly,hugs her*
Abominable Snowman: *smiles down at Lilith*

Lillith: *hugs Slappy tightly* I love my uncle Slappy

Slappy: *hugs Lilith back happily* Slappys loves his lil baby girl,Slappy's Very Happy! *hugs her tightly*

Lillith: *hugs her parents*
*Slappy watches happily, he then notices R.L Stine's car pull up.*
*He has come to get the books and monsters back*

Slappy: *starts feeling sad*
R.L.Stine: Hm,looks like you all got out of your books,well,I'm sorry,but it's time you monsters went home.
Slappy: *is afraid he'll never see his lil baby girl again*

Lillith: *hugs Slappy tightly* don't go .....

R.L.Stine: *sees this,kneels down to Liliths height* Little girl,do you want Slappy and his friends to stay?

(They don't stay, I'll have to use spoilers ... forgive me .... R.L Stine takes his monsters and books back to his home in Maddison and both Slappy and Lillith miss eachother so much. Lillith's parents and Stine have a conversation with eachother over the phone in secret. Lillith's parents allow Lillith to live with Stine, Hannah and the monsters mostly Slappy but they keep it as a surprise for both Lillith and Slappy. Slappy is incredibly happy (heheh rhyme) and Lillith calls Slappy her new daddy)
Lillith: Do you have to go?
*Slappy sighs, he doesn't want to but he has to*

Slappy: I'm afraid so Lilith *he feels sad as he gives her a hug*

Lillith: *hugs Slappy tightly, crying* ..... I'm going to miss you .... uncle Slappy
*Slappy points to Lillith's forehead and chest, indicating that he'll always be in Lillith's heart and mind*
*The monsters watch in sadness, they see R.L Stine getting the books*
Lillith: I'll miss you all too

*One by one,the monsters give Lilith one last hug before going back into their books,Slappy is the last to go back in*
Slappy: See you in your dreams..my lil baby girl. *says this has he is being sucked back into his book*
R.L.Stine: I'm sorry..*starts packing them into his car*
*Liliths parents go to give her a comforting and assuring hug*
(It really is fascinating how the monsters form from all the books letters)

*The three watch as R.L Stine drive off*
Lillith: *sniffling, crying and cannot stop* .....
*As a week goes by, the parents see Lillith drawing a picture of Slappy and the other monsters, they see tear drops drip onto the drawing*

Mom: I've never seen our little girl so sad.
Dad: We should do something.
*They get an idea*

*The parents ring Stine*
Stine: *answers* hello?

(Me too,odd as it seems,I think I can see him being voiced by Mark Hamill,who voiced the Joker on Batman the animated series)
Mom: Mr.Stine we know you said the monsters had to stay in their books,but our daughter Lilith really misses them,
Dad: We were hoping you could help us in cheering her up.

Stine: Slappy and the other monsters are sad too, Slappy has escaped but to only look out into the night sky and saying "I miss my lil baby girl"
Dad: Maybe we should let stay together, Stine ........ this is hard on us but this is to make Lillith happy again ..... We are sending her over to live with you, Slappy and the others. We know how much Slappy cares for her like a surrogate father

Mom: And I suppose we can always visit eachother around special occasions.
Stine: Then it's decided,we let them stay together.

*The next day, the parents are driving Lillith to Maddison*
Lillith: *has fallen asleep in the car*
*At Stine's house, Stine lets Slappy out of the book*

(I was like that when i first saw it,that's how they get you,enticing you with their storylines and brillient cover artwork)
Stine: Look alive Slappy,we've got a suprise for you.
Slappy: Suprise?

*Stine tells Slappy to stay in the living room with Hannah*
*Lillith's parents arrive at R.L Stine's house*
Lillith: *still asleep* .......
*The parents think its a great way to sneak her into the house without waking her*
Stine: Slappy, close your eyes and keep them shut

Mom: *is holding Lilith in her arms,carefully carries her into the house,looks around for Slappy*
Stine: *whispers* He's in the livng room with Hannah
Dad: *is looking around the house,sees Slappy*

*The mother gently places the sleeping Lillith in a chair*
Stine: Okay Slappy, open your eyes
(Is he the skeleton with the mowhawk?)

*Slappy approaches Lillith while she sleeps, he places a hand on her head gently*

Slappy: *smiles,his happy to see his lil baby girl again*

*Slappy hears her crying from happiness*
