This is my Dragon Ball Z original character : Mata

Saiyan female who was engaged to Prince Vegeta before Planet Vegeta exploded. Worry not, the two of them have no romantic attachment to one another what-so-ever! If anything, they acted more like they were siblings. The engagement itself was a political deal to make sure that the 'Vegeta' line continued to thrive.

Mata is just slightly younger than Vegeta though older than Goku.
Her father was Toma who was BFFs with Goku's father Bardock and fought on his team. Therefore she thought of Bardock and Gine as a sort of uncle and aunt type while viewing both Raditz and Goku as sudo siblings even though she never really got the chance to know baby Goku before the plant exploded.
She was spared from the explosion due to being on mission in another galaxy at the time. When she arrived back, she believed everyone she knew and loved were dead including Prince Vegeta due to Frieza's men lying to her. She did, however, realize that baby Goku could've survived due to him being scheduled to travel to another planet and spent a long time searching for this planet, leaving Frieza's command.
