Created with Photoshop. "Conversation with Rhino", a digital painting concept for future oil painting.This is possibly one in a series of works to do with humans and rhino's.

The concept reminds me of the mind encountering how it perceives a threat so new and unidentifiable it doesn't even provoke specific reactions; this piece takes place in the unconscious, and that horn, the most eye-catching aspect of the piece, is gonna make itself known to that person's consciousness, that light!

That's stunning. That requires quite a bit of a development imagination. It's cool. I like how sad the rhino look, especially since he's obviously stronger and bigger than the creature speaking to his horn.

Great concept. Somehow reminds me of 'Matriculated' one of the stories from The Animatrix. Don't know why, maybe its the symbolism of connection, between the human and rhino reminding me of the connection between human and artificial intelligence in that particular short from The Animatrix. Also I expect the colour play a part.
