I love the development in this, especially what with the expressions to match their change in emotions and age. My favorite has got to be the first one and the last one, though.

The first because of the self-deprecating expression on Helga's face; as though she knows she shouldn't love his touch as much as she does, but really can't help it. And then I like the last one for the serene, loving circle of adoration they create. <3

Four in one is a good deal for us, but we can only it once apiece. Still...

9 is great because it's Arnold showing the outward and obvious affection, and without regard to Helga's reaction. For all he knew she could have reverted into her old mode and punched him or something, but he's making sure she knows both that he cares and that he knows how important that is to her. As for Helga, I just hope Phoebe was there to help Helga walk to her next classes and home: little Miss Pataki would feel like she was floating on a cloud but her jello-like legs would have left her lying on her face.

14's fun is that it's totally unexpected by Arnold, even if they've been "an item" for a while. She just snuck up on him unawares and made sure he'd pay attention to her, despite the books and music and that overactive mind of his. This couldn't have shocked him more if she'd kicked off her shoes, shuffled across the carpet with stocking feet and then used those pretty lips to electrocute his nose just then. (I think in the end they both like it a lot better just the normal way.) The style you made Helga's hair is "sensible" yet still lovely; she's changing a look but keeping a bit of her former self with the pink and white motif. It's also great that she's wearing the locket openly (and, you know, kissing him openly too).

21 The slow and gentle feelings flowing from Football-head's lips into Helga's pretty little ear are taking their time to sink in, but she's soaking up so much of his adoration that it's making her face turn a bit red too. Again their hair and body styles have evolved nicely. (Good move to start plucking or waxing too, Helga, but how special she is never had anything to do with the number of eyebrows on her forehead.) On top of al that is that Helga is so thrilled to be that close to him, and I can bet she still writes poetry at night because of him β€” or because of them.

32 Finally! Arnold is wearing a different outfit... Okay, it doesn't matter because his overall shape is all man, and so is his attitude towards his wife and child. Helga looks very motherly, and like a darned good mothers as she cradles their baby and also makes sure to hold the family cap in place. They're finally full adults, but it's their attitudes and demeanors that show it.

What's striking is that Arnold has obviously just come up or around and taken hold of his two loves, not just to show but also to enjoy their lip-felt feelings of appreciation for all three of them together, and Helga automatically moved into him and reciprocated the kiss even without expecting it just milliseconds before. (If that's payback for 14 then she'd better make a habit of doing that to him more often now too. )

Wow, it's nice to reply to multiple pictures at once here, like on the threaded boards. As always maybe I'm reading way too much into some of this, but like so many others Hey Arnold! lives forever in a special part of my heart. (My heart shouldn't need any more work so it's safe too. ) Thanks for choosing them and putting such great talent to use for this meme.

It's Arnold hand putting the cap to his son. And both of them dress white, except for their child that dresses orange. XD
