"Man-of-Action
- Major boss that appears very rarely
- Silver, metallic arachnorb with a body similarly structured to the Man-at-Legs, but has stomping feet similar to the Beady Long Legs and visual elements that seem to indicate a more “explosive” element (ash stains, two ”fins” mirroring a warhead, bomb rock-like cracks on the top of it’s head, etc)
- Only vulnerable when attacking, spends the fight skittering around on a web above the player and jumping down trying to catch them in a web-net, position is telegraphed via the shadows on the floor
- Can be pulled down by weighing it’s web with Pikmin or by burning it using a fire starter, both will force it onto the ground where you can whale on it
- Will occasionally dive off the net and attempt to land on the player with a “falling bomb” whistle, when it hits the ground it will cause a massive explosion before jumping back onto the net to safety
- Scientific name: Pseudoarachnia inglorida
- A mechanical arachnorb that takes a much more active approach when it comes to hunting down its prey, the Man-of-Action seems to seek out riskier game that can fight back and will let weaker creatures pass under its tell-tale net. Perhaps, in a similar vein to the lumiknolls, this too is a part of its evolutionary tactic, to push the species to its limits, only the strong or clever enough are able to have offspring. How it determines its opponent’s strength, however, is an entire other question…"
