When making comics about games, the best thing to do is start at the end (/idiot)As far as Final Bosses go, I've always felt Mewtwo is pretty hard done by, what with everyone saving their master ball just for him. He becomes a little harder if you're like me, though, and used your first master ball on a ditto because it turned into a charizard.
There are probably a million inaccuracies in this. I drew the trainer as myself because that's what all the cool people do
Bonus question!: can anyone guess my favorite pokemon?

Says you.... I caught it the hard way with it using amnesia to the full 6+ and it recovering after every attack. After 89 ultra balls, I forced it to bow before me.

Dude! I managed to freeze it with almost no life left, and I used an ultra ball as well because I used the master ball on Articuno.
It was probably the most epic moment of the game ever. D:

This is exactly EXACTLY what happened when I very first played through pokemon red! I laughed so hard, and my older brother, who was sitting next to me playing ff7 turned with an expression of pure WTFery. I explained just how 'epic' Mewtwo made it sound, just like your comic, how you were able to make it through the dungeon to reach him. The moment he shut his trap I lobbed the masterball at his head and that was that. The super epic battle was over.
(unlike my poor cousin who wasted her MB on a dugong.. that's a whole other funny story, lol)
I've always shared this story with friends who've never played the pokemon games or those who've only ever played the newer ones, and now finally I can share this comic instead.
Though sadly I never nicknamed my Mewtwo, the one you chose was by far the most amusing.

I managed to catch Mewtwo with a TimerBall with lotsa of stalling and revives.
I love how these new fangled balls make loop holes in the games.

What irks me to no end is my little brother's ability to catch ANY pokemon with a Duskball, regardless of whether it's got a status problems/on 1 hp or not.
It took me HOURS to catch my damn Dialga, and he does in in literally ten seconds. Grrr...
Now he has three masterballs. Goddamit...
