Description
I loved depicting my soul duo from "How to Train Your Dragon" Universe, (which without question had to be Toothless and Light Fury Β ), in an iconic play of "Single Wing Angels. Flying Embraced," after the beautiful metaphor that we are angels with single wings, so we may raise high but embraced. In this regard I allowed myself the fun to depict the bodies just a little bit closer to a humanoid shape.
I dedicate this painting to my lovely daughter Alexandra, aside whom I watched entirely mesmerized "How to Train Your Dragon" series, wondering of the power that a beautifully fantastic universe may always have to enrich and inspire.
Hope you enjoy it

Seriously though, this work is amazing! Love how you painted the Hidden World so accurately, I could barely paint the crystals!

Quite enough, because I love to experiment and try out different possibilities once I get over 75% of the painting. Opposed to paid work with strict deadlines, when I work with passion, I do not count the time to be honest,Β working at ease, with pleasure Β

There is so much care and love put into the piece, I wish the glitter wasn't just slapped on like a 3yr old spilt on it. I'd suggest masking some of it out if you had layers and lowering the opacity on it, if not, paint over some of it so its not so distracting as it takes away from the beautiful characters you rendered. Good job though, and good luck.Β

I just felt it was disrespectful to have a pointless argument displayed on the artistβs page.

You thought it was disrespectful to have an argument on the Artist's page but yet posted a very demeaning comment to the artist ?
Let's be real here, you deleted it cause you didn't want other people coming in and nagging.
It's oki, we all do it lol

Please refer to artists response and tell me if they sound upset about it. If not, please drop it as its turning into harassment at this point and honestly its between me and the artist. Two adults can communicate without supervision, thanks.

Oki I'll drop it. BuT if you don't want people to comment send a note to the artist. It's not that hard

That's a bit of a rude way to comment on something you don't like about the piece. :/ For all you know they put a lot of time and effort into adding the glittery bits, and that they were indeed not just "slapped on like a 3 year old." Comments worded in such a way can be very demoralizing to an artist, especially if it's about a piece they're really proud of. Offer critique, yes, but maybe try to do it in a way that doesn't insult the artist and the piece.

I'm not being rude, or attacking you. I'm giving you valid advice for future encounters with artists.
I know if someone commented on my stuff the way you did, I would probably just send them on their way and not take anything they said into consideration.

Nah, like I said, you can still give critique for an artist to learn from, but if you word it rudely then people won't listen. They'll just think you're being cruel to them and possibly ignore you.

Thank you kindly for your beautiful words and well pointed feedback! I just took care of those aspects of which you were quite right, hopefully bringing the painting to a better looking. Thank you again
