I do not join usually any contest based on votes, because i don't have great number of watchers (and im not interested in false popularity or mathematical schemes of promotion my art at any costs etc). I was attracted by the fantasy theme of the contest, and i tried to do a design i would wear myself with great pleasure, and also thought of it to be liked by all kind of myth/fantasy/magic lovers, no matter of gender or age
... And promoting DA on my t-shirt would be also a pleasure, a place where imagination is shared and inspiration is infused through eyes in so many gorgeous artworks... countless emotions are born inside mind eager to born at their turn beauty, grace and endless depths of imagination in our lives...So here it is
*** The idea itself in my concept was to see Deviant Art community as a place where IMAGINATION is shared, where IMAGINATION is fed and enriched into a virtual "immortal" place where precious pieces of art are exposed by great artists and lovers of art. A place which could enrich our palette of imagination, adding also depth and daring into creation. The chromatic was chosen after DA official site palette of colors. The design has transparent contour. Its contour is done by the color of t-shirt. The main t-shirt design is 4000x4000 size ***

can't agree for more of that vote system. i mean its really shame when good art had to lose to the not so good one just because of the vote from those watchers lol. but on your work, i really like the detail on the shading! its very neat and the pegasus pose is really dynamic and with a great composition. but i think you shouldn't add the manticore on the back instead add the customized DA logo. i think less is more and better, imo though. why don't make the manticore on another shirt? consider it as an alternative or second entry 
but afterall kudos to you. check out mine if you like

As you could saw, in a second approach, i was thinking of your point of view... and even if i am contradicting myself, i preferred to be less "egoist" in my vision, and count others points of view too, if the contest is at all of another kind of nature then pure art ... In what regards my concept which may seem to some watchers with too many elements, i would say as before i love details, i love epicness, i love to be impressed and last my emotions longer, i love to lose my mind into a fantastic ambient as much, as long as possible, when my eyes would fall upon it. Most my art is created this way. So i tried to be myself as i love most into a T-shirt concept, too.
If i would follow marketing rules this would be less my art, and only the wish of the most, and my art more like cunning to sell more...

I totally get what you're saying about the voting system. It's stupid and I'd love to see the jury pick their favorites on their own.
On your work:
Really awesome. It sure does look like a lot of work. Did you do this in Illustrator ?
I kinda feel like it needs more color, but with such a tight limit, what else can you do ? ^^
Personally, I'm not sure if I would wear it. It feels a little cramped, but if I saw the final shirt, this view might change, or it's just me.

Thank you, friend. All work was done in Photoshop, and the palette of colors would imitate in a way the DA website chromatic.
About "being a little cramped" I would say only my own vision, of course a subjective point of view: I love details, i love epicness, i love images where you can let lost your eyes and imagination to discover and feel nice. If you take a look at my artworks in my gallery, you would see that pattern in almost all of them. Of course, anyone would chose what it would represent him/her more

Your motive for entering this contest is the same as mine, so I can totally relate to that. Your design is a tad to crowded for my taste, but a lot more awesome than what I came up with
