I like this. It reminds me of an assignment I got in graphic design school way back, to design a pattern. We had to make sure it repeated but was not too repetitive, because the assignment was to make packaging paper (for a children's bookstore). I don't think this pattern actually repeats does it? If so, I don't spot the seams. Well done!
