Aww, I'm so happy to hear that! I looked through your gallery to find a direct link to the image I used, but it seems that you've removed it? If so, may I ask why?
Thank you for you wonderful stock.

I removed a lot of stock images in my gallery, because I am replacing them with lots of new pictures soon. I intend on updating my gallery really soon with newer photo shoots and better pictures
I hope you can use my stock again soon

very well done! H.R. Giger would most likely ask you out for this.
Smart move on Lolita's neck; although, considering the absolute perfection of manipulation on the rest of your canvas, my eyes some how miss just a litie bitie detail right there.
Good work all in all! hah reminds me of some tool vids...

IreneLangholm In reply to PSYXXARTS [2007-11-13 07:43:58 +0000 UTC]
I thought about doing some detail on her neck, but it didn't work because the lighting comes from beneath and makes her neck really dark (as from the original picture). Also I think it would look a tad more disturbing, seperating it from the background.
I'd love to meet Giger, but maybe not on a date; He's 67! lol
Thanks, friend.

I can honestly say I have seen nothing in the form of photo-manipulation that is quite as impressive as this! Maybe I haven't looked at a lot, but I like what I see. It makes me want to experiment a little more with my images!

Oh, thanks. That's quite a compliment. I appreciate that.
Experimentation is good. I do that all the time when working on something.

"wow" was the first thing that came to my mind. its a really strong piece.
I think this piece shows that you pick your stock really carefully, and that you have amazing skills (and I can tell you have been improving a lot during this year).
The greatest achievement in this is that someone who dont like this kind of aesthetic (I certainly do ) still can feel the concept in all its strength, and feel sympathetic towards the two lovers (without them being human at all).
you managed to keep key features without having to throw away your amazing style, textures, and intricate design... I am really in awe!
as for the image... my favorite part is the intimacy achieved by lighting, the head of the one on the left and the whole bony-structure theme... great work indeed!

Thank you. I'm pretty meticulous so i tend to every detail possible and the stock model is the most important in these images, especially because this a 'close-up'. I was very lucky to find this particular one as the two girls had such beautiful, almost serene expression. (On the original the left girl was actually putting mascara on the girl to the right.)
I wanted to keep their faces as human as possible. Besides, who knows how aliens really look like.
However, the main focus was always the emotions of the two creatures.
Thanks again for taking the time.^^
