after many people asked that i do it again.

Harry and Niall ended being regular partners when it can to scouting missions. Harry was an incredibly skilled sniper and was able to take in the majority of his surroundings as well as the layout of the landscape with much ease. At first did the scouting on his own. Eventually he convinced the Liam the job would get done better if he were given a partner. When they found the operating ATV, it ended being that Harry was the most skilled when it came to driving it. It was therefore switched to Harry’s possession. Liam eventually decided Niall would be the best scouting partner because Niall believed in getting the job done quickly, but he was still rather precise about it. If there was ever a reason the two needed to clear out a building, Niall could check every room there and kill any zombies or other dangerous lurking creatures that’d been left there much quicker than any of the other boys by far.

Context:

Harry and Niall drove up, dust flying about from the wheels of the ATV. Niall was sitting sideways on the back, laughing.

“JACKPOT!” He yelled as they neared Louis, Zayn, and Liam. He slid off the side of the ATV before telling Harry he was getting off, tipping the vehicle but Harry caught it before it totally tipped over.

Harry stopped the ATV and got off to gone Niall, Liam, Zayn, and Louis.

“You serious?” asked Liam. “How good is it?”

“Yah, I mean no supplies units anywhere. But we’re stocked up enough. There’s nobody for about…” He sniffled a bit, and rubbed his nose, careful not to smudge his lazily applied face paint. “…Twelve miles I’d say.”

“Seriously?” asked Louis excitedly to Harry.

“Yah. But I wouldn’t push those limits.”

“Alright-y then,” said Liam. “We can camp here a few days, maybe a week or so if we can go with any zombie incident.”

“Sweet,” said Niall, dumping his backpack on the spot and collapsing onto the desert ground. He rummaged around in his backpack to pull out a mangled deck of 48 playing cards held together with a red piece of yarn. “Anybody up for cards?”

Louis didn’t respond but instead began to unpack supplies and the tent. Liam and Harry joined Niall in the dirt.

“I’m in,” said Liam cheerily.

“Sounds good,” added Harry.

“Again?” moaned Zayn. Niall dealt a hand for both him and Louis anyways. Eventually Zayn got over himself and Louis finished unpacking soon enough to join the second round. It wasn’t often they got a day as uneventful as this… it was rather relaxing
