Description I felt Marcus' hand leave my shoulder. "Kyuu-san… I-I need to…"

"Do what you must, Mar-kun…" I turned to face him. "I am not going to tell you what you can and cannot do.

"I can stay here for a while, then?"

"Saranari, komaigo-kun. (Of course, little lost boy.)" I pulled the front of his robe, making him bend forward slightly, then pat his head lovingly. "What, did you think I would kick you out with nowhere to go? Roxy-chan would kill me…"

"Damn straight!" Came Roxy's voice just behind me. She grabbed Marcus' hand. "Let's go, Markie! I'm sure we have a space for you... if not, you can sleep with me... if you know what I mean~!" She began to pull him towards the stairs and I almost laughed at the surprise on Mar-kun's usually calm face.

"Just get his measurements, Roxy-chan, and go shopping for some clothes to replace those robes… Send him back down once you are done." I smirked. 'Who knows when that will be…' "I am taking him hunting." Roxy pulled -no, dragged- the vampire up the stairs, one-finger saluting me as she went.

I went back to the couch and curled up next to Seth. "That… was brilliant, Kyuu." He kissed my forehead.

"Yes, well, we will see what happens when Michael-kun gets home…" Marcus glided back down the stairs.

"Hunting?" He asked.

"Hai." I replied. "I am finally going to break that 3000 year old habit of your's and get you back eating animals."

He sighed. "Is that really necessary?"

I nodded and stood. "If you are going to be dating Roxy-chan," His face flashed in what appeared to be confusion, "which you will no matter how much you deny it now, you are going to have to get off your habit of eating people. We do not want any…" I searched for correct word. "Accidents."

Marcus sighed again, his posture drooping. "And just how many people have you successfully converted?"

I smiled. "A grand total of one. His name is Michael-kun and he is also living with us, which reminds me…" I looked back over at Seth. "If Michael-kun beats us home, tell him to clean his room, it is a pigsty in there. If he refuses, tell him I am threatening his violin's safety." I gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. "We will be back soon. Ja ne." I took Marcus' hand and led him out the door.

Marcus and I came back from hunting a few hours later. I was entirely content while he… well… he did not complain. We walked in through the door that led to our kitchen.

"Please, remain here while I go prepare Michael-kun… He is a little wary of the Volturi…" I pushed him into a chair.

He sighed. "Understandable." He waited patiently, like a perfect statue preserved by Adonis.

I went into the living room and sat down on the couch again. Seth was nowhere in sight, but my sensitive ears told me he was asleep in bed (not surprising since it was four in the morning). Roxy was out, probably trying to find a clothing store that was open. Michael was still bustling about his room. 'Here goes nothing…' I thought to myself.

"Michael-kun? Could you come down here for a minute?"

He was at my side in an instant, clearly making an effort not to look angry at me. "What?" He nearly hissed. I pat the cushion next to me a couple times and he sat down stiffly next to me. "What?" He repeated.

'This might be more difficult than I thought.' I sighed. "Michael-kun, you know what imprinting is, ja?" I pulled him into my lap and hugged him against me.

"Yeah, that's how that stupid dog fell in love with you, right?" He fidgeted a bit. "What about it?"

"Roxy-chan imprinted."

"Good for her. What's that got to do with me?"

On cue, Marcus slid in, standing in plain view of Michael.

"Michael-kun, this is Marcus, the vampire Roxy-chan imprinted on." Michael stared at the vampire for a moment before realization clicked.

"I thought the Volturi left!" He yelled, scrambling to get away. I hugged him tighter, waiting until he calmed down a little to do some explaining. In his struggle, however, his elbow caught me in my sensitive belly.

"Ita! (Ouch!)" I yelped, holding my stomach with one hand while holding the boy's arm with the other. He froze as my face contorted with discomfort.

"Ah, shit! Kyuu-okaa-san! I'm sorry! Really! Are you alright!?" He gently grabbed my arm that was hugging my stomach and moved some hair away from my face.

"Ah, hai… Dai-daijoubu… (Ah, yes… I'm-I'm alright…)" I smiled up at him. "Though I do not suggest ever doing that again." The boy nodded then glanced nervously back at Marcus. "Will you allow me to explain before I let you run off?" He nodded again, reluctantly, before sitting next to me on the couch.

I hugged him to me again. "Michael-kun, Mar-kun is a very close friend of mine, the only one of the Volturi that I can actually tolerate. Some things were discussed a few hours ago and I was finally able to break Chelsea's hold on him. Mar-kun is no longer one of the Volturi and he is living here with us."

I looked over at Marcus, who had remained very patient throughout our little scene. "Mar-kun, this is Michael-kun. He is my adopted son and was bitten when he was twelve years old. He is not an immortal child like the ones from Alaska, he is far too mature for that. If you cause him any harm, I will be forced to do the same to you, and I would like it if Roxy-chan did not kill me."

I looked between the two of them. "This is a neutral house where no one is ever subjected to any form of bigotry. Or… they will have to answer to me." I bared my fangs. "Are we clear?" The two boys nodded. The corners of my mouth turned upwards in a smile. "Ee! (Good!)" I released Michael's arm. "Now, you boyos may do as you please. I am going upstairs to see how my boyfriend is doing." I hugged each of them before shooting up stairs.

The sight of Seth sleeping with the moonlight shining on his bare skin was godly. Summer time was awful for him with his body temperature up so high. I peeled off my cheongsam and pulled on my fluffy, purple robe before sliding into bed with him. Instinctively, his over-heated body immediately moved towards the chill that mine emitted and soon I was smothered by his heated embrace.

"Mm… Kyuu…?" He mumbled, his eyes opening slightly.

"Ah, gomen (sorry), did I wake you?" I smoothed his hair away from his face.

"Mm-hmm… But 'm glad ya did… S'too hot in here…" He pulled open my robe and pressed his hot body to my cold one, moaning when our skin touched.

"I am glad to be of service." I chuckled as he practically purred in content.

"Those two gonna be okay…?"

I knew immediately who he was talking about. "Hai. Unless Michael-kun and Mar-kun want to deal with me, they will get along." I knew they could hear me… and the threat that dripped off my voice like acid.

"Good… You don' need 'nymore stressers…" I knew they heard the threat dripping from those words as well.

"Hai, wakata. You can yell at them in the morning." I kissed his sweaty forehead. "But for now, will you please go back to sleep? I do not want you crashing sometime on me."

"Mm-hmm…" He nodded slightly. "Love you…"

"Aishiteru…" I hugged him closer as he drifted off to the one place I would never be able to follow him to.
