Description "What should we do about Marcus?" Seth said, getting to his feet.

"Nothing. He lives here now and there is nothing anyone can say that will change my mind." I sighed, rubbing my belly absent mindedly.

"Kyuu-san, are you sure--?" Marcus started.

"Yes, I am sure. If the Cullens do not like it, they do not have to come here. Although, since it is you, Mar-kun, and you voted against killing Ren-chan, no one should mind too much." I reached up and patted his head again.

The doorbell rang for the second time that day. "Hai!" I called.

"How are you feeling, Kyuu-chan?" Carlisle asked as he appeared in the living room. "Marcus?" He said, as he spotted the ex-Volturi member.

"Good day, Carlisle." Marcus said with a sigh as he stood up.

"What're you…?"

"I will explain later, Carlisle-sensei." I said as I smiled at the doctor as I went back to reclining on the couch.

"Of course." He smiled back then kneeled in front of the couch. He pulled back my shirt to the top of my bulge as Michael and Seth watched carefully over his shoulder.

"Kyuu… You look like you're at least seven months pregnant." He poked and prodded my stomach. He smiled as he asked, "Does it hurt anywhere?" I laughed and as some pressure started to build, I extended my stomach under his touch. He pulled out a stethoscope and pressed it to my belly, listening around for a tiny heartbeat.

"Well, everything seems fine. At this rate, you'll probably be giving birth within the next few days. Seth, be sure to give me a call when Kyuu-chan goes into labor. We want everything to go as smoothly as possible." He stood, hanging his stethoscope around his neck.

"Yes, sir!" Seth smiled, saluting Carlisle.

"Now, Kyuu-chan, I believe you said something about an explanation…" Carlisle cocked an eyebrow.

"Hai." I replied and began Marcus' explanation. Carlisle listened intently, waiting until I was done before speaking.

"Well, I'm sorry about what happened, Marcus, but I'm glad that you're changing your diet."  Carlisle smiled, patting his old friend on his shoulder.

Marcus sighed. "What's done is done and there's nothing we can do to change it so it's pointless to dwell on it."

"I agree." I said quietly, sitting up. Seth put his hand on my shoulder.

Carlisle nodded. "Well, Kyuu-chan. I'll see you in a few days then? Kyuu-chan?" Carlisle was suddenly concerned as my eyes widened and my mouth opened slightly.

Michael was instantly on the couch next to me. "Okaa-san! What's wrong?"

I blinked and placed a hand on my stomach. "It…It kicked me…" I smiled. "It kicked me…"

The tension in the room subsided and Seth placed his hand with mine. The kicking moved towards the heat. "Wow…" Was all he said.

I looked over at Michael, who was looking at my stomach as though he was fighting an inner battle. I smiled, silently taking his hand and pressing it where mine had been a second before.

His eyes widened slightly as the baby kicked under his hand. "Okaa-san…" I mussed his hair, earning a smirk from him.

I smiled up at Carlisle, who nodded back and disappeared from the house. Marcus drifted upstairs into his bedroom and the baby stopped kicking after another moment.

"I do not know about you guys, but I feel like watching a movie." I said when they pulled their hands away from me.

"Howl's Moving Castle!" Michael grinned at me. I had gotten him addicted to the excellent stories of the Miazaki films and Howl's Moving Castle had become his favorite, as it took place in England.

"Princess Mononoke!" Seth interjected. I had also gotten Seth addicted to Miazaki films and his favorite immediately became Princess Mononoke, as in centered around wolf gods. The boys tried to stare each other down.

"Maa, maa, we have plenty of time. Shall we watch them both?" I tried to stop their fight. I stood and popped in Howl's Moving Castle, simply because Michael had voiced his opinion first.

I sat back down on the couch. I leaned against Seth, who wrapped his arm around me, while Michael settled himself on the couch with his head in my lap. I simply loved moments like this… Moments that made me feel like I had a family and that I was almost… normal. I sighed in content as the movie began and settled in for a few hours of relaxing comfortably with the two most important boys in my life.

*********************************

The next two days were pretty uneventful. I was still kept a close eye on by everyone and I had to take Michael and Marcus on a hunting expedition - both for my pets and for food for the three of us. Sadly, my pets remained lost as our bellies became full.

Roxy was starting to become more and more… hawk-like, I guess I could call it. It was almost like my pregnancy was bringing out the mother-wolf in her… How bizarre…

'I wonder if Roxy-chan wants children…' I almost laughed at the thought as I read another chapter of The Host while listening to Michael practice his violin in his room upstairs. 'Though I cannot imagine Roxy-chan with pups of her own. Something tells me that they would be the most rambunctious pups on the planet.' I sighed. 'I suppose that is something she will have to discuss with Mar-kun… Although I am not sure he is even ready to be in a relationship with her, let alone seed her pups…' I shook my head. 'Gambatte yo (good luck) anyway, Roxy-chan. I hope Mar-kun gives you everything you want and more…'

"Oi," Came a voice in my ear. "I'm hungry and I suck at cooking. Food, please?" I tilted my head backward to see Roxy looking down at me.

"Hai." I said pleasantly, book-marking my page and pushing myself up. I walked slowly into the kitchen, where Seth was sitting at the table.

"Don't take this the wrong way, Kyuu, but it's nice to see an almighty, graceful vampire fuckin' waddle. Damn, I wish I'd thought to grab my camera!" Roxy laughed as she followed me and sat down next to Seth.

I glared at her playfully. "I guess a certain someone does not want home-made ramen anymore…"

"Oh, shut up. I was just kidding… sort of…" Roxy mumbled, fingering the newspaper on the tabletop.

"Hai, hai…" Once again, I started making an enormous batch of my special ramen.

The two wolves stuffed themselves until I had completely run out of ramen and was throwing random things onto the table for them to munch on. "I will never understand where you two fit all of that food." I mumbled as I cleared their plates from the table.

"We're just badass mother fuckers, Kyuu." Roxy said with a burp. "Don't question us."

Seth laughed. "She's got a point, Kyuu."

"If you say so…" I began washing the dishes.

Except for the sound of running water and rustling paper, the kitchen was relatively quiet for a time until…

"Kyuu! What's wrong!?" Roxy yelled as the plate I had been holding smashed on the floor.

Seth was instantly at my side as I sank to my knees. "Talk to me, Kyuu! Tell me what's wrong!" He pulled my chin up to make me look at him.

"S-Seth-kun… I think the baby wants to come out…" I groaned, gripping my belly.
