Description "Hell, I'm just glad we fuckin' stopped ya in time, Kyuu." Roxy said, giving me a few hard pats on the back. I glared at her.

"Hey! You're the one who keeps fuckin' sayin' that she doesn't want to be a goddamn murderer." She punched the top of my head. Carlisle walked in the room then. I jumped up from my chair, expecting the worst and hoping for the best. He stared straight at me as he spoke.

"First of all, none of the humans are dead. We're flying them back to Japan, unconscious, as we speak." I sighed in relief then braced myself again.

"Second of all, Seth is fine. He's been completely drained of his energy and has some third degree burns, but he should recover well." I sank back into my chair and Roxy put a hand on my shoulder. I closed my eyes.

Carlisle smiled. "Would you like to see him?" My eyes snapped open as I nodded vigorously.

"I'm pretty sure he's still awake. And even if he's not, you can still sit with him and sooth a few of his burns." He winked as he held up his hands and wiggled his fingers. I smiled a half smile at the inside joke.

"I'm going to tell the other werewolves the news. Ittekimasu." That was the only Japanese Roxy knew so she translated it and shot it right back at him.

"See ya later!" She waved him off enthusiastically. "Well, I'm off, too. Later!" She pet the top of my head and left the house. It was strange being in Seth's home, but I had quickly grown used to it. I may be spending quite a bit of time here, after all. I stood up and walked slowly into his bedroom.

I half expected Seth to be asleep but, as fate would have it, he was awake. And expecting me, it would seem. As soon as I came into view, his face became relieved and elated. Almost the entire left half of his body was burned, some spots worse than others. He started to sit up, but he grunted in pain and froze. I was there in an instant, pushing him gently down.

"God, your hands feel so damn good right now…" He sighed contentedly.

"Carlisle-kun said it might feel good… How are you feeling other wise? Would you like to sleep? He said you were pretty tired…" He silenced me with just a simple look. I sighed.

"Can I tell you something? Something I figured out just before you went on your little suicide mission to save my life?" I glared at him, albeit forgivingly, and he chuckled at little at the irony.

"Sure." He said closing his eyes. I was going to have to make this quick.

"Seth-s… Seth-kun… As I ran to put myself in harms way, I realized I was not running for a pack of wolves. I was running for one single wolf. And that wolf was…"
I took a deep breath. "you. I love you, Seth Clearwater."

His eyes snapped open, filled with wonder and joy… And love. He used his good arm to pull me down into a hug. I kissed his forehead.

"Hey, how do you say 'I love you' in Japanese?" He asked suddenly. I grinned.

"Aishiteru." He practically purred as the word rolled off my tongue.

"It's so pretty." He groaned, closing his eyes again. "Kyuu, say it again."

My smile widened. "Aishiteru, aishiteru, aishiteru…" I repeated the word until he was completely asleep. I waited by his side, soothing his burns and kissing his forehead every so often, for him to wake up so that we may start our lives together, which we planned on living for the rest of time. Forever was not too much, was it? It was all I was asking.
