Description "YOU STUPID FUCKIN' IDIOT!" Roxy screamed as she threw some of my
heavy duty pans at me. I had told her what had just happened between Seth and me.

"YOU COULDNTA' JUST GIVIN' HIM A FUCKIN' CHANCE!? NOOOO! YOU HAD TO BE A JACKASS AND RUN AWAY AS SOON AS HIS FUCKIN' BACK WAS TURNED AND NOW YOU'VE PROL'LY JUST BROKE HIM BY RUNNING! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"

I sat still, knowing that if I just let the pans hit me, she would get bored and storm off like a child. She calmed down slightly as one of the pans nailed me in the nose.

"Please, just tell what the hell you were thinking!" She said, exasperated, as she sat cross-legged on the floor.

"I was not thinking. That is the problem." I glanced about the room slowly. She noticed.

"Liar. You always do that when you lie. Tell me what you were thinking, Kyuu!" I sighed.

"…I was thinking about how I had vowed that I would never truly love again. I was thinking about how I did not want him to waste his life waiting for something that will never happen. I was thinking about… many things, Roxy-chan. And none of them make sense anymore. It is like trying to remember most of my human days. They are all cloudy and distorted, like low quality pictures printed on wet toilet paper." I leaned my head back against the chair and stared at the ceiling. Roxy started chuckling to herself.

"There is nothing funny about my situation, Roxy-chan. What on earth are you laughing at?"

She laughed louder for a moment before she answered. "I see now. About damn time. He's getting to you, Kyuu. He's making you see things differently now."

My jaw dropped slightly. Was she right? Had I miscalculated the amount of influence he had on me? Was I… No, I could not doubt anything right now, if I was to keep a level head.

"Well, I'm gonna go visit 'The Coven.' I miss Nessie. Wanna come?" She stood up stretching and walked towards the door. I grinned.

"I will leave after you and still get there first."

The wolf girl froze, before turning around with a devious grin, "Is that a challenge, Asian Vampire Bitch?"

I reclined in the chair. "You can have a thirty second head start this time." I had barely finished my sentence when she bolted out the door. I counted to thirty and bolted out after her. I had forgotten how easy it was to be friends with Roxy.

As I had predicted, I did arrive first, but only by a few tenths of a second. "Damn it…" I heard her mutter under her breath. We walked inside, not bothering to knock as they most likely already knew we were here. I half expected to see Jacob with Renesmee in his lap.

"Hey, everybody!" Roxy cheered, prancing into the living room. I followed, a bit more gracefully.

"Kyuu, thank God you're here!" Bella exclaimed, throwing her arms around my neck.

"Who are you and what have you done with my cousin?" I asked her, suddenly concerned, pulling her arms off me. Bella knew about my extremely strict "no touch" policy.

"What's going on, Jingles?" Roxy asked, sitting on the arm of a chair, next to Jasper. Edward answered for her with a question of his own, looking directly at me.

"Does the phrase 'Japanese Mythical Creatures Slayers' mean anything to you?"

I blinked slowly, trying not to believe my instincts with what he was implying.

"Yes. For the most part, the Japanese are very accepting of any mythical creature. But there are a few that have devoted their lives to taking the creatures out to make the world safe for humans. They can destroy any kind of mythical creature at will…" I hesitated. "Why do you ask?" I braced myself for his answer.

"Oh, no reason. Except for the fact that some of them were finally able to track you here!" My knees buckled and I fell down on them.

"Th-that is impossible… There is… no possible way for them to have tracked me out of the country…"

My eyes widened. "Is that what…?"

"Yes, that's what Jacob called all the werewolves back for." Edward answered as Alice knelt in front of me.

I looked her straight in the eye. "Can you see?"

Alice nodded. "They're almost here. They're almost to First Beach down on the Quileute Reservation. I can't see much else because they encounter the werewolves…" I jumped to my feet and turned to run back towards the door, but Alice caught me by the arm.

"It's you they're after. Stay here. You'll be safe for a while…"

I interrupted her, "You think I care about that!? They do not care to just search for their target! They will kill any creature they come across! The werewolves will be killed! Just let me go!" Emmett and Bella had joined Alice in holding me back now and the three of them combined could barely hold me.

I had almost given up hope that I would be able to help the poor werewolves. I  truly was an awful person to have let this happen. Thunder boomed, then, startling Renesmee and causing her to cry. Bella let go of my arm, giving me just enough leeway to break away.

"KYUU-CHAN! KAETTEKURU!" Alice shouted behind me. Come back? Not until I was sure the werewolves were safe. And even if I did manage their safety, that did not mean I was coming back.

I arrived just in time. The slayers had just taken out their talismans to destroy the line of wolves in front of them.

"DOKKOI!" I shouted, telling them to hold on.

"Kyuuketsuki desu!" I told them it was me. "Onegai, korosu kimi-ga! Karera mai!" Please, kill me! Not them!

I needed to beg for them to let the wolves go. I stopped in front of the pack of wolves, covered in mud and wet from the rain.

The slayers hesitated, deciding among themselves what they should do. They decided that it was best to kill me first and figure out what they should do with the wolves after. I raised my hands up near my ears as a sign of surrender. The slayers took out more talismans with different symbols on them. These were the ones designed to kill vampires. I closed my eyes.

Seth-kun, I am so very sorry.

"Iwokessuru?" The leader asked the other slayers if they were ready.

"BUKKOROSU!" He yelled, telling them to kill. I prepared myself, only finding comfort in the fact that I would soon be joining my dearest Ookamiotoko. I could feel the talismans being thrown at me. I heard them make contact, but I felt nothing. I opened my eyes to see a giant sand colored wolf standing in front of me. These talismans, made for killing vampires, did not kill him, but they did make him drop to the ground in pain.

I must have looked horrifyingly angry, for when Seth dropped far enough down and the slayers finally saw my face, there was no more confidence as there had been before. There was only fear. I walked slowly to the other side of Seth. The other wolves quickly tore off all the talismans from his unconscious body. I charged the stupid, racist humans. And the only thing I remember doing was smiling at them as I made my way closer.
