Description
This angel is not specific to any religion but a symbolic fantasy being. Life can be hard and sometimes filled with sorrow. Here she offers a prayer in rememberance of those who have died before their time.I have made the colour scheme minimal to enhance the mood, and designed the wings to fold around her in protection. The subject is fantasy but I hope the symbolism and feeling behind it are from our own world also.

Just came back to DA after sometime. This is a fantastic picture. You're definitely right about the ideals of angelic beings being more than just to one religion. I love her face the most I think (besides the amazing level of detail I've come to see from you in every piece you make) since it is so hopeful. At least that's how I see it. Great work.

It is so difficult to make wings take on a curved effect like that. I've had a lot of problems with it. Awesome as always. I'm starting to think that purple is your favorite color. I see it often in your work

Lovely. Simply lovely.
The only pause I had in admiring it is the wings, which cannot bend that way, at all, and the pattern of feathers is all wrong. The feathers themselves are well done, but not placed on the wing as they would be in real life. I am aware that you probably ignored reality for stylistic purposes, which is why it only caused a pause in my admiration.
In any case, it is still lovely.
