Description
Based on the ultimate spell of Karthus, the Deathsinger from League of Legends. This is my largest pixel art canvas yet and was meant to be a static piece, but I got carried away almost to the point of animating it entirely, and for the amount of moving elements, this is my most complex animation so far even though it has only six frames. The spectral elements were animated manually frame by frame, while the Karthus's robes were moved according to sine waves with the help of a Paint.NET plugin called SinWaves. At the end I added some bloom effects to reinforce the focus around Karthus and the death magic coming out of his mouth. Total work time around 15 hours.
