Probably the most taxing work I've done, and with the 2 things I don't like to be dealing with (but I have to sooner or later)--backgrounds and perspective. Not to mention I had so much difficulty with putting the highlights (which looks very half-assed because I get kinda sloppy when working on something that takes too long)This is a project for my concept art class in digital painting and a digital remake for an artwork I made a long time ago. I know there are tons of things still missing or lacking but I have so many other things to do and although I'm not very satisfied with this one I'll leave it at that for now. ^^

I find the computer displays to be more interesting. In movies, they like to show very advanced graphic user interfaces, but in real life, there's nothing that really looks or works like them.
It lends to my hope that one day there will be UI's like that console.

I'm just wondering why there's something resembling a hatch in a very particular spot. >_>

I was experimenting on perspectives- so what's closer should appear bigger, right?
as for the valve-thingie, well, just a random design. I'll just leave it to people to decide what's it for ^^

Hmm, i don't think it'd be that extreme from that perspective. It's a very very subtle difference that is quite noticable.

well in other technical thingamajigs there may be errors and stuff but I like how it looks, especially how it gives depth, extreme angles and perspectives and other whatnot. as long as it gives the "feel" that I want it to have I think I'd leave it at that.

Well then congratulations on a detailed background. You've turned something usually boring into something just as eye-catching as the emphasis on the girl.
