Description
During my times as a missionary, I visited a good man. Because of the many times he and I conversed with each other, I can see that he holds the spirit of knight. He also shows devotion as a respectful Christian. So, I drew his character in something like a modern Knight. My friend suggested that I give his character an M14. After researching on it, I can see why. The M14 is a select-fire battle rifle. It became the standard-issue rifle for the U.S. military in 1959, thus replacing the M1 Garand rifle until 1968 by the M16 rifle. The M14 is the basis for several sniper rifle systems. The rifle served adequately during its term of duty in the Vietnam war. It's standard ammunition could penetrate cover very well, and extend to a range over 2,500 ft of muzzle energy. My character's weapon is modeled after the Israel bullpup assault rifle, known commonly as the "Tavor" (IWI Tavor). Its selective fire can switch between semi-automatic and full automatic fire. This assault rifle was designed to maximize reliability, durability, simplicity of design, and ease of maintenance. This piece of equipment is a recommended close-quarters-battle weapon that even was selected by the IDF to replace the M16 and M4 carbine variants. Oh? About that blue thing I'm handing to my friend? That's a mechanical cigar inspired by the Phantom Cigar from MGS V: The Phantom Pain, which was used to speed up someone's perception of time; fast forward time while you're waiting. But that's not what this cigar has for my friend's character. I would say it's a mechanical cigar with an herb. My friend does try to break his smoking habit, and I was one of the missionaries who tried to help him. But I couldn't finish it; I was called to go elsewhere at the time. Some would believe smoking herbs is healthier than smoking tobacco. Actually, no. I did my research in the medical fields. Smoking herbs is not so different from smoking tobacco. Soooooo, yeah. Don't smoke.
