Chapter 1- Black Hole

It was a rainy afternoon in Toronto, Canada and Nikki Rubinstein was laying lazily on the couch, watching TV. "Nikki, go and clean your bedroom, Isabel will be here in any minute". Isabel Dapena was Nikki's best friend, well, her only friend. She was 15 years old, A Year Older Than Nikki, she was a pretty sweet girl with shoulder length Auburn hair and hazel eyes. Nikki had Black hair and hazel brown eyes. Isa was Spanish, and like Nikki, she was an excellent artist. But there was one thing that brought those two girls closer than ever, Manga and Anime. Every time the friends got together, they would cuddle up with some popcorn and soda and watch all their favorite Animes, like Naruto and Pokemon, but there was one in particular: Wolf's Rain. Yes, that wonderful show that ended like a decade ago and still was Isa's and Nikki's favorite thing in the world. Anyway, let's get back to the story, Nikki's mother asked her to clean her room. Nikki groaned and glared at her mother: "Mum, Isa doesn't care wether my room is clean or not, she only cares about food..." Still, her mother insisted. "Well, you two won't want to study for that algebra quiz in a dirty bedroom, would ya?" Nikki just ignored her mother and placed the Wolf's Rain CD in the CD player, Nikki's mom frowned. "That wolf show again? You've watched it like 50 times!" Nikki rolled her eyes "I'm sick of your attitude young lady! I'm seriously thinking on confiscating that CD! It has curse words and you're obsessing over it! Kids at school bully you just because you like it! You're even starting to behave like an animal!". Nikki snapped her head up and let go an animal like growl, making her mother stumble back. "Touch it, and the last thing you will see is me getting ready to kill you!" Nikki snapped. "Don't you ever speak to me like that young lady!! Daniel!!" Nikki! Don't disrespect your mother!" Called Nikki's father from the other room. Nikki rolled her eyes and mouthed a sarcastic 'sorry' to her mother "Hmph! You'd better be..now clean your room!" But just in that moment, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it mom!" Hollered Nikki as she ran towards the door and opened it, revealing her best friend in the world, Isabel Dapena. "Nikki!" Shouted Isabel as she hugged Nikki, "Hello Nikki" said Isa's Mom, "Hey Lia" answered Nikki. Nikki's mom appeared with Nikki's dad "You two go and study, we will be back from the movie at five sharp, and don't watch that silly anime of yours!" Warned Nikki's mother, Isa tried to not giggle, Nikki hid her laughter behind an sweet smile. Nikki was quite talented at using her innocent little smile of hers for mostly anything. When she got into trouble, she would just smile her way out of it. People would always fall for her grin and soft laughter, and the dimples that formed on her rosy cheeks every time she used this talent made people fall even harder. So eventually, her mother's once dark eyes softened and then she closed the door repeating her goodbyes to the girls. The friends waited until they were sure their parents were gone. Isa mischievously smirked at her friend, Nikki giggled, it's as if they read each other's minds! "What time is it?!" Asked Nikki playfully, "WOLF'S RAIN TIME!!!!" They both answered. "Do you think you'll get into trouble for this?" Asked Isa while she got out the popcorn, "I mean, we are supposed to study for Algebra you know..." Nikki and Isa just stared at each other, then burst into a hysterical laughter. Nikki eagerly restarted the anime, and she jumped on the couch next to Isa. But suddenly, the temperature started to drop, and a cold wind started to blow from the window. "What the hell?!.." Nikki shivered, "Look!" Cried Isa pointing towards the window, in the middle of spring, a small trail of frost was creeping upon the glass, Isa's eyes widened, "Is that.." Isa's voice trailed off as the frost figure became clearer...a lunar flower, just like the ones in Wolf's Rain. A voice like silk danced in the air, 'we need your help...find paradise'...it sounded just like, Cheza the flower maiden. "I think we are watching to much Wolf's Rain.." Assumed Nikki, "Yeah, Algebra?" Algebra." When Nikki was about to get that CD off the CD player, her eyes widened in fear. "Isa! The TV!!" Instead of the usual song Stray and the opening, a black whole was opening in the TV!!! That same phrase got louder and louder 'we need your help, find paradise!! We need your help, find paradise!!" It chanted. The wind blew in the room and papers flew all around. Then Isa and Nikki were swiped into the TV! Then it was all quiet.
