on another note:
Photoshop for me has been acting quite weird lately, and I've been wanting to make Disney fanart with the lovely multicolored linework. But someone who had the tutorial deleted their gallery, and now I have NO idea how to do it.
This picture would have looked quite better if I remembered how...but alas. Ah oh well.
...and I need to stop fangirling over Azumanga Daioh in between other high-level fangirling...

I really didn't know it was that kind of magazine.

a thousand people have probably told you that trick in photoshop already but here is what I think you were looking for;
If you want to change the lines and they are alone in their own layer then you have to go to the layer options and click the "preserve transperant pixels" button. Then get the color you want and color where you want. -->[link]
