It's my second time I participate to a contest held by , my favourite happy-go-lucky yoshi deviant. This time, it's the Power-up contests, where we have to draw one of her fanchildren using a power-up that wasn't already drawn by her and that fits best the character.

Having read Princess Azalea's description, I saw that she enjoys teasing her cousin Itario and is the partygirl type and so, she's the fanchild who's the most likely to be the prankster of the group, and she also likes playing Hide and Seek. So here's the setting.

Sometimes on April 1st, the three royals (Prince Itario, Princess Angela and Princess Azalea) are playing Hide and Seek. Azalea was the one who had to count. Once she's done, while she was looking for Itario, she stumbles upon a block containing a Boo Mushroom. Quickly an idea came to her ! She grabs the Boo Mushroom and transform into a Boo and resumes her seeking her cousin. She eventually finds Itario and scares the crap out of him by yelling "APRIL FOOLS ITARIO !!!"

Silly idea, heh ?

This time I went with traditional art, as it's been a while I haven't done something with my watercolor pencils. The shading was done with drawing pencils and the outlines was done with a permanent marker.
