Breed: Oriental Sphinx mix
Build: Echo is Small and lithe, he is very skinny and hardly has any weight to him at all
Fur: Despite his wrinkly appearances Echo has a very thin covering of fur that is almost more like fuzz than fur. It is naked to the eye and all it can do is give him the pattern he has. Doesn’t help with making him look any less naked however
Height: Echo is a very small cat for his age, enough to where people always think he is younger than he is unless they know him
Eyes: An icy cold blue inhabits the orbs of Echo’s eyes. They tend to come off as cold and distance although sometimes when he gets excited they do shine, but he tries to limit this.

   Before joining SafeHaven Echo's life was not what one may call stable. He was born to two rogues who had left the clans shortly before what they referred to as the calamity struck. His two parents of which he can't remember the names of weren't what one would call... normal. His mother always found herself wearing a mask, believing it to help hide her from the creatures of the dark and his father was one who would see ghosts and illusions. He saw things that weren't there and often wore himself out fighting the non existence attackers. After having seen the devastation along with losing there friends and family the pair found themselves not quite right in the head, always fearful, always believing something was going to happen to them. They had been traveling to follow to call of the monarchs, to find Safe Haven when Echo was born. At that moment in time his parents were convinced that if he didn't learn to be a fighter right away he would be killed in moments, that they would get him and they would lose there single precious kit. As such his father had decided that only a week after he had opened his eyes he would begin to teach him how to survive, until they reached their destination that is.

   Echo's mother was sweet to him and always kind however his father was far less so. He didn't think that unless he was as brutal as the monsters they were surviving against Echo wouldn't learn how to survive. The poor kit had to go through his fathers brutal training sessions where claws were always allowed and the father often trained viciously. One of his training sessions resulting in the two scars across his right eye however now Echokit likes to block that memory out. Instead he tries to remember his father from all the times they weren't training... and he wasn't fighting imaginary monsters. They had almost reached Safe Haven when a larger ashen attacked. Echo's parents had fought it off for a bit however they were both tired from the trip and didn't stand a chance. The creature ripped them to shreds before turning to little Echo who was petrified at the sight of what he had saw. The Ashen attacked him and gave him the three claw marks across the bridge of his nose when sounds erupted around them. The traveling trio had been closer to haven than they expected and a group of patrolling cats had been passing by, having heard the noises of cats fighting they had come to help however they were too late.

    The patrol fought off the creature while one of them strayed from the rest to pick up Echo against his wishes. The small almost hairless cat remembers screaming in protest as he was carried away from the maimed bodies of his parents and into Haven where he now resides. When the rest of them had come back they carried his parents bodies in, the mask still hanging from his mothers head. Echo had run up and took the mask at that moment, not wanting to forget his sweet mother who had always been kind to him. Others had to pry him away from his parents moments afterwards for they didn't want him to see those he knew as so. That was the last he ever saw of them as he got dragged away and into the nursery and to a few with medical knowledge. He holds his mothers mask in high regards and plans to one day keep it. With his family gone Echo has never bothered to try and leave, he didn't want any chance of seeing that creature again. His mind has begun to cover up the incidents of his past and now he is starting to forget his brutal life before Haven, something to which is more of a blessing than not.

Shortly after joining Echo found himself meeting numerous different cants, from the weird monarch Hopflight, to littlestep. he even met a few apprentices, Shiverpaw and Tigerpaw. He was nice and sweet to all of them, but inside he never felt like he really connected with any of them. Never felt like he belonged with them. He was still closed off from others, not really letting them enter his little bubble. There was one cat in haven though who he did let into his bubble, it was a fellow kit with a tail far too fluffy to be normal. It was just a simple little meeting, Echo was cold in the corner and the other kit came and offered to help keep him warm. This other kit went by the name Sealkit and he was an orphan much like Echo. Perhaps it was because of them both having lost their parents that he let him in. Either way Seal became the first friend of Echo's, the only in haven that the kit made a conscious effort not to lie to.

   Not long after he joined a large gathering took place between all the cats in haven. This gathering was to welcome and promote the new chiefs of the different professions. Not something that interested Echo in the slightest, however it was not all fun and games. Shortly after the announcement was made a group of cats, the remnants of the skinners gang, emerged and crashed the meeting. Hostility was abounding at their entrance however Echo not caring about what others ever thought, promptly walked straight up to them, sending the cats of Haven into a panic as they feared they might attack him. He batted at the tail of the main cat, a she-cat named skinner before getting pulled away by another cat and Seal. Shortly after he left the small group as a fight broke out among a member and someone in haven to go comfort Shiverpaw who was freaking out over what was happening although he didn't stay with her long. Cats began to tell those in skinners gang to remove their extra pelts which was something that bothered Echo immensely.

   Despite his general uncaring towards what others thought and said he found himself irritated by what everyone was suggesting, thinking it wrong and as such he defended the skinners gang ((as much as the small kit could anyways.)) His actions during this impressed the skinner who then offered for Echo to join with them. Finding himself rather irritated by those in haven and thinking them stupid/naive he accepted the offer. Becoming the first of 5 to join skinners gang. He was greeted warmly by the giant in the group, Mjolnir, which made him oddly glad with his choice. What he didn't realize at the time though, was how much his choice would affect those he had interacted with. Sealkit in particular.

She went to go and press her head against the dark side of her feathery companion however when she began to try he made loud squawks of irritation. Glancing over her shoulder she saw what was making her anti-social friend so irritable. There was another cat. Looking at her. With emerald eyes. At her. Her brown fur raised slightly and for a moment all her lightning snapped out of existence, bathing the two of them in a small darkness. A few streaks slowly came back to as she stared at the cat who had found her. What was she suppose to do? Bunching her legs up form under her she prepared to bolt, to run for dear life from this tom. She didn't know what he wanted, what if he wanted to hurt her or something along those lines? In all honesty and if she were to really think about it the crafter didn't care what he wanted, she just wanted to get away. She was just about to bolt like the lightning she commanded when something about him caught her attention. Were those... tufts? on his ears? All her movements froze and she stared at them for a good moment. Much to the distaste of Cyril who believed she should simply run now and save them all the trouble of whatever might come of her next action.

Glancing down at a spot in front of her, then back at the tom she took a hesitant hop forward. The limp in her hind leg clear as day. Landing at the spot she previously looked at she hesitantly repeated the action, clearly weary of any movement the silver tabby tom could possibly make. She was ready to bolt at any movement as was clear saying as how she would give a small hop to the side at some unusual shadow in the bushes beside her and completely freezing until she was sure nothing would pop out at her. As she continued her slow advance towards the tom Cyril left in a small flurry of feathers. Clearly not liking going near another cat.

Now only a few tail lengths away from the tom her nerves were higher than when she was laying by the tree. A loud noise sounded behind her of a tree cracking. That sent the she-cat bolting forward, due to the fact that the tom was taller than her she went right through his legs, the top of her fluffy back only just grazing his belly. Safely with him in between her and whatever made the noise she glanced past him to see what ever possibly wanted to kill her. However as usual it was only a branch withering under the constant downpour.
