Some early concept art for the characters. Some notes below!
Dog-lord
She was originally intended to be a Mastino, however I quickly changed it to a Kangal simply because those are easier to draw (and also one of my favorite breeds). Her design hasn't been finalized yet but she'll remain a Kangal.
Allna
She didn't change all that much, but I gave her more white and removed most of her facial scars as her design just became cluttered.
Asta
Her design pretty much hasn't changed since its first conception. She had a white muzzle for a while but it didn't fit.
Bear
This character no longer exists in the current version of the story. He was originally Cody's brother, but has been replaced in favor of a wolf named Tadpole.
Bella
I slightly simplified her scars and her markings became more defined rather than airbrushed, but otherwise she's still the same.
Blue
Same markings, different eye color. He's named after his gray-blue coat, not his eye color.
Brett
His design hasn't been finalized yet. In fact I don't even know if he'll appear in the current version of the story but who knows.
Buck
He won't show up until late season 1/early season 2 so his design is obviously not set in stone yet but I like what I have for him. His scars are based on George from Ginga.
Chiran
This guy's design has changed a bit, though it isn't finalized yet. He'll get some gray markings on his face to make his expressions more readable and he'll also get more gray on his toes/belly/tail after the time skip because black wolves tend to turn gray as they age.
