Wessels after he made a deal with the demon Storekr, resulting in his body altering in various ways. His yellow eyes became green and glowing, his small and weak posture turned into something huge and muscular, he grew elongated fangs and his claws became closer to bird talons than actual canine claws. He also stopped ageing once he reached adulthood, despite being already way older than any wolf would reasonably get. He simply doesn't age anymore due to the possession. If he were to be de-possessed by Storekr, however, he'd simply crumble to dust as age would catch up to him rapidly.

So here's our main villain for book one! Quite the bad guy. He also has the most elaborate armor out of any of the wolves seen in the book. Most wolves just have some claw-extensions and helmets, maybe with the occasional padding, but Wessels has full-on armor that also happens to be golden-colored rather than the usual gray or bronze.
